The main entrance is locked at midnight so if you get back after that time, you will have to wait for the staffs to unlock it - a bit inconvenient.

Breakfast - the pâté was excellent. The room was spacious, and the location was also great.

Nice old hotel feel, friendly staff and wonderful location for travellers especially if you are travelling by rail or bus. Rooms are small but fully adequate and charming feel.

Super friendly hotel staff, lovely large spotless room so close to everything and walking distance to all the right places. Breakfast was really nice every morning with lots of options, room felt spacious and secure. We had a lovely stay at the hotel, even when it rained they gave out three umbrellas for us all to use for the day, and called us a Taxi to take us back to the hotel which was so much cheaper. Definitely highly rate overall experience.

The Grand Hotel Terminus is a beautiful hotel with a lot of history (they even have a book about it!). The rooms were huge with beautiful timber flooring and a very comfy bed. The bathrooms were also huge, and with striking tiling. The hotel is located right next to the train station and has a whisky bar. The staff were fantastic and even left us a little treat for our honeymoon.

Great location for city sightseeing and for the train/tram. Very comfortable old traditional hotel with modern amenities, helpful staff, large room, excellent shower and delicious breakfast buffet. Great value (February prices)

There was no plugs by the mirrors so we had to dry our hair and hope for the best.

The windows of the hotel were old and the wind and cold air was blowing through them. Fortunately, you could use the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Otherwise we would have had to change the room after the first night. We had to seal the windows with curtains. Otherwise, the room was very cold, despite the (old and not very heating) heater being on.

The hotel is in a beautiful location a short walk from the centre and all attractions. The hotel itself is very nice, historic with great breakfasts.

The hotel looks amazing, personel made check in even before 15:00. The best breakfast I have ever had. Also was fine to have really hot water in Norway, but temperature in the room was slightly cold,”: Only one downside which change impression about our stay is veryyyyyy loud music till 1 or 2 a.m. was impossible to sleep and we hear dancing movements “on our heads”.

The restaurant had a limited dinner menu and 3 of the main courses were not available . The staff in the restaurant were not friendly.

The reception staff were excellent. Cleaning staff were good. Breakfast was great.

There was a Christmas party in the bar/restaurant until 01:00 (or later) which we hadn't been informed about. Our room was directly above the room of the party with very poor noise isolation. Luckily the staff was able to re-house us in a separate building free of charge.
