Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe ceiling over the bed is very low, making it a little claustrophobic and hard to turn if you´re a couple staying there. I would have appreciated to have a spare mattress to be placed on the floor in the living room.
You cannot beat the location: the view is breathtaking. The villa is located outside of the busy Reine and the island itself is lovely. The house is small, but we found everything we needed for recharging batteries after amazing hikes in the area.

BulgariaWhile the stay was enjoyable, the bed on the second floor is very close to the ceiling, and the angled roof makes it a bit tricky for two people to sleep comfortably. Also, the stairs to the bed are quite steep, which might not be ideal for everyone. If you don’t mind these quirks, it’s still a great place to stay!
Great stay at a decent price! The location is perfect for spotting the Northern Lights, and the place was clean and well-equipped, making it comfortable even for long stays. Everything needed for a cozy stay was provided, and the atmosphere was great for enjoying nature.

NetherlandsNothing, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that the shower can run out of hot water because it's a boiler.
Awesome MINI villa at a perfect location in Reine, stunning view from the cosy cottage. Has everything you need for 2 people. You have to be a little flexible to get in bed, but the matras is great. Absolutely great place to stay.

South AfricaThe ladder up to bed might be dufficult if you have any mobility issues. The sleeping space is rather small. Unless you are two tiny people I will not recommend to a couple.
Location!! If you manage to secure this place, you have won the jackpot. Front row seat to the best views and you are totally private. The minivilla is perfect for solo travel. It had everything you need. Lovely cosy in winter.

GermanyNo windows can be opened in the lower area and only two windows have curtains. This means you have little privacy because people tend to look into the beautiful hut. It's also bright at night because you can't turn off the lights in front of the house.
Cosy little house with a beautiful view. Good for a few days in this area. We could see the northern lights from there twice in September 🤩

AustraliaThe only bed is a loft bed accessed by a steep ladder. It is hard to get up and down from, especially for an older or taller person

GermanyIt's a wonderful tiny house, a Mini Villa. Everything we needed was there. The villa is well equipped, and we enjoyed our time. The place the villa is situated is probably the best you can find in Reine. Thanks to our hosts

Hong KongBe aware the hot water tank has limited volume, don’t spend long time in shower…water will get cold at the end :(:( And the bed is in the attic, I would say probably more suitable if you are travelling alone
Very cozy place, small but well equipped, great location, you can walk up to the LP cover viewpoint, and about 10 mins drive to Reine, very nice in total

NetherlandsA tiny holiday house that is perfectly situated on an island with the most stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sea. It was tiny as advertised but it was so comfortable and cozy we would have stayed for a couple of more days if only our itinerary wasn't set already. We will definitely book this accommodation again on our next holiday in the summertime. Can't wait to book it again.

NetherlandsIt's bit cold inside if I don't use the blanket provided. The water went cold during the last few minutes of the showering on the second day. (But I didn't contact the owners.)
Super nice location with one good restaurant within 5min walk. It's a bit far from Reine without a car, but personally I enjoy the walking back and forth so much (and bus stop is closy by also), and the surrounding is more calm without disturbance with extremely nice view (better than from Reine island in my opinion). The villa is cozy and well-equipped for long stay. I enjoyed it so much just looking out from the window during the heavy storm. The villa owners are really kind and helpful. Thanks to their useful advice, I managed to move around with crampons or to continue my journey in the last minute instead of getting stuck when the bus got canceled due to the storm. And even their dog is so smart and warm-hearted, who guided me down the hill when the road got too slippery! :)

CanadaA chair to sit outside would be nice!
Communication with Marta was super easy. The name « MINI » villa could not be more true. Everything is super small in there but so charming. I would suggest having a car because there is not a lot that you can easily reach by walk. Bed was comfy. I even had the chance to see northern lights from the balcony! Wow!

United StatesThe hot water only last 5 minutes before shutting off. So you need to shower fast!
The property is in the most amazing location. It is between Hamnoy and Sakrisoy. We woke up every morning with beautiful views of the two islands. We even saw the aurora from the back yard!

AustraliaAn extra couple of hooks or a retracting clothes line in the bathroom to help dry damp things would be helpful and a toaster, which might have been there but we didn’t find one.. But those are small things.
Everything! Hosts had excellent communication and were extremely helpful. The property has the most spectacular view. In a little wild wind we felt so safe and cosy. We used the cooking facilities which were useful. The heated bathroom floor was lovely. The comfortable recliner rocking chairs were perfect. The ladder up and down to the bed needed some careful footing, but once tucked up in bed, very comfortable. Small, cost and perfectly formed. Thank you for a most beautiful stay.
