The location is fabulous. It was warm inside the cabin in winter. Sauna is small, but doing the job! Owners are kind and friendly.

Not much to say. Would be good having Wifi available -not a deal breaker for us. Also looks like TV channels were not active, again not a big issue for us

Stalheim is a special location for those looking for peace of mind. We have been there during summer time and enjoined the views, the nearby waterfall and the opportunity to walk around. Now decided to have a stay also during the winter time and it was an amazing time with plenty of snow around. Special thanks to Marit - our host - who was systematically in touch and ready to support us with whatever we needed. Despite outside temperatures going as low as -18C, the chalet was warm and comfortable inside; the fire place added to the charm.

Everything was fine.

A beautiful cottage in an even more beautiful area. The rooms and the terrace were just great! The owners were very friendly and helpful, we can not say anything bad about our stay. We also knew beforehand that there was no wifi for example or that we could clean up ourselves so we would not have to pay a fee, which is why everything was clearly communicated in advance.

There was no such a thing, everything was perfect.

Absolutely amazing, beautiful and stunning chalet! Breath taking views and lovely hosts! For one week when we were staying there, we had everything what we needed. We will come back there for sure and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to admire beautiful Norway with peace and quiet around.

Nothing in particular, just make sure you have a good mobile connection if you need internet (there's no WiFi in cabins).

Amazing little cabin surrounded by mountains. There's everything you need, including kitchen appliances (even dishwasher), utensils, fireplace, and a great terrace. The cabin is warm thanks to the heating system. It's extremely cozy and nice, especially at evenings and mornings when you see the mountains and the valley in different light. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, they told a story of the place and shared great local recommendations. Definitely worth staying here for the experience!

Even with plenty of windows, improved lighting especially in kitchen would be beneficial. This is a very compact cabin but still has all the amenities

Location and hosts fantastic. This is a hidden gem if you enjoy quiet, an unbelievable view, and hiking. Also close to major attractions in the area, away from the tourist crowds.

We loved everything!

The independent cottage with big terrace and gorgeous views of the mountains. Close to main road but also to hiking trails and many attractions in the area. Easy access, parking place but feeling of privacy at the same time. Dream come true vacation in Norway!

Having to pay so much for sheets and cleaning. It almost doubled the cost but was overall still a good value.

Excellent vacation stay! The hosts were so welcoming and knowledgeable about this stunning area. The cabin was clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. The sauna and washer were nice additions. We were also able to comfortably cook in the kitchen and eat outside overlooking the valley. The area is amazing to explore, great hikes, kayaking, scenic drives, and more. We had a great stay and recommend this property wholeheartedly!

It was great! Stairs were step but doable!

It was perfect for our Group Of 4. Amazing views and very comfortable beds. Easy walk down to the Stalheim hotel for an evening beverage and free Wi-Fi! 20 minutes to Gudvagen and another 10 to Flam. I would 100% recommend!

A bit old fashioned cooking plate (it works, but a little uneasy with cooking) and no blankets for colder evenings/mornings on the sofa (while snowing outside, very beautiful). But that are little details.

Fantastic location, view on the Naeroyfjord will remain in our minds. Nice play ground for young children available. Hytta nr 22 was large enough for our 6person family. Good beds!
