There were not many toilets compared to the amount of cabins. It's quite strange in my opinion to charge extra for showers. This seems like such a basic service of a hotel.

Great view. For this price to have a porch that overlooks the fjord it was unbeatable.

You get what you pay for, it was a small cabin on a field, so nothing negative to say.

Location was perfect, staff were great, the site served it's purpose very well for a short stay.

I didn’t like to have to check out by 10:00, 11:00 works better. The shared bathrooms are not cleaned more than once a day it seemed, and the shared shower by 20:00 was really dirty and gross to use. I needed to move to a dorm the second night and the luggage storage is not secure. Anyone can enter the room and the cleaners all wear their headphones and pay no attention to the storage room. Washing dishes isn’t the easiest having to carry them down to the sink. The cabins could use a makeover. They seemed old and worn out.

I liked the staff person, Sonia who worked both days. The view was great. The kitchen in the cabin had what I needed. The mattress was comfortable.

There was no signs to direct people who were walking to the cabin. If you follow google maps the path is through private property. Plus it would have been helpful for people to be able to buy snacks, drinks or tea and coffee on site

Territory is not cozy. People are moving, driving cars, walking 24/7. Shared facilities are pretty old. Only 4 toilet-shower rooms (2 for men and 2 for women). If somebody locks the door, no one can access. If you have cooking station in the cabin (also old and decent) you are not allowed to enter to kitchen.

View from the cabin is great. Clean and modern linen.

Lack of towels in kitchen meant people put away wet dishes, some were moldy. The cabin we stayed in was poorly insulated and even with the heater on high, we were quite cold all night. The walk into town is not long but it’s along a fairly fast, one-lane road with no sidewalk or shoulder. Some cars whipped by fast and close which made the walk less nice.

Beautiful views! Decent privacy even though folks are all staying close together.

The showers and the toilets were in a very bad state of repair and were confusing and frustrating as the loo is within a shower room so you can end up waiting a long time if people are showering. The fact you have to pay for the showers when they spurt water out of the sides, the drains overflow and there are holes in the toilet floor is falling. If you want to be in Flåm then it is frustrating as the in house shuttle service is good but expensive.

The view is good and we slept well.

Very basic chalets. It’s more or less a camping experience at glamping prices. Lots of rules to digest e.g. take laundry and trash to the collection point. Pay to use the kitchen, pay for a shower. Monopoly on the shuttle adds NOK 600 for a return to Flåm.

    Good location with lovely views.

Bunk-beds were very unstable so got little sleep.

I'd say well provided information, when staying in cabins it was important to know where and what facilities are. Initially it was unclear if bed linens are included, but got quick answer. So if you like staying in cabins - not a bad place.

There is some considerable ambiguity over whether the cost of bedding/towels are included in your booking or not. The toilet/shower facilities are pretty awful and not sufficient for the amount of cabins.

The village of Aurland is a good location with a decent shop. The location of the cabins is nice insofar that they give a lovely view of mountains and the fjord. The road isn’t great for walking on though, and it gets busy with coaches going up to the viewing point 9k away.

The cabin was very hot during the summer and it was quite expensive for the level of accommodation (no running water inside the cabin, shared bathrooms, had to pay for the shower). We knew it beforehand though, it is just the price for staying close to the fjord.

Bathroom facilities are not good, 2 wc and 2 shower (2 men 2 women) for 20 cabins is not enough i think. Parking a bit complicated in the evening, but u can find a place

The view is great!!! Sitting on terrace looking on the fjord is best u can have at Aurland and Flåm! Cabin is small basic but clean and all u need in camping u have. Location is good 10-15 min walk from Aurland beach and ferry (Fjord cruises), sonu can leave your car exploring fjord.
