Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOur stay at Beli guest house was amazing! The family running the place are so kind and caring and made us feel at home. We stayed there for over a week and loved the communal space that had a yoga room and kitchen! The view from the top and the location were perfect as well at the rooms were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Pokarah. Thank you for having us and look forward to seeing you again in the future! ☺️🙏🏼

SpainEverything new. Excellent hot water shower. Excellent WiFi. Not noisy to sleep in day or night. Good sockets. Nice views of lake. Just above a good part of the mainstream and lakeside. Owners beyond helpful and often do same day laundry service.

United StatesI wish there was air conditioning. There is a good fan in the room.
Its very close to the lake for early morning walks. The 4th floor has beautiful views of the lake. I spent a lot of time just enjoying the view. The staff is very attentive to keep things nice and clean. On a heavy rain day he even came in to mop up the wind driven rain from the lanai balcony. I appreciated being able to cook on the 5th floor and the refrigerator/freezer. There is also a meditation room available. This floor also had great views while enjoying my meals. I had ice cream every afternoon. I used the filtered water dispenser everyday. There is a little path that leads directly to the street below. There are a lot of places to grab a meal very close by. I really liked its location.

United KingdomNot a complaint, but because it was the hottest time of year, only having a fan was a bit of a struggle. This is the norm in Pokhara, but something to bear in mind. If you struggle with stairs, book a room on a lower floor.
Run by a lovely mum and daughter, this place is a gem. It's down a quiet (but safe) alley, so away from the noise of the main road, and the views from the balconies are gorgeous. The rooms are simple but have some excellent touches like sockets and lights witches near the bed. The bed itself was comfy, and the room was spotless. While the shower was a typical above the toilet one, I loved that they provided a squeegee, which made the room dry much more quickly. Finally, there's a little kitchen on the top floor where you can make tea, use the fridge and even cook a full meal if you want.

GermanyNothingness in
Beli House is an amazing place, so nicely located, maintained and first of all: managed. Sami and her mother are always there and help with everything. The rooms are simple in a very comfortable way and designed very thoughtfully (plugs, light switches, boards, hooks). I loved the terrace on the 5th floor with yoga room, tables with a stunning view and the kitchen. The whole house is spotlessly clean. I will come back and can recommend Beli House hundred percent.

United KingdomI absolutely enjoyed my two weeks at the Beli guest house. The owner lady, Kamala, and her daughter, Sami, make you feel at home. The location is perfect, it is a few mins walk to the lake and nice cafés, yet it is tucked away from a busy street. The simplicity of the room and cleanliness is perfect, and you can also use a shared kitchen and a terrace with the view. I will definitely come back next time. There’s also a room to meditate or practice yoga.

Czech RepublicI would definitelly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The two lovely ladies who run the place are incredibly kind and helpful. You can borrow hiking poles and store your luggage for free, which is super convenient for trekking trips. There's also a filtered water refill station available. The owner also booked bus tickets to Kathmandu for us. The rooms are clean and equipped with a fan, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliable. We originally planned to stay just one night before our trek, but ended up returning and staying another three nights afterward—we felt so comfortable here. As two woman traveling together, we felt completely safe. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Lakeside area, where you'll find plenty of restaurants and shops. On top of all that, the price is very reasonable. There's even a kitchen you can use and a rooftop where you can hang your laundry to dry. An all-around great place to stay!

The hosts are an amazing family! This was the best guest house in Nepal I have stayed in, great value. The rooms and bathrooms are recently renovated, free filter water is offered and there is a communal kitchen. The view from the balconies and rooftop is beautiful! The location is less than a minute away from the central street.

BelgiumBeautiful view, nice atmosphere
Great view from terrace (higher you are, better view you get… but also more stairs to climb :-)). Nice room, hot shower. Friendly atmosphere. Close to lake, shops, restaurants… Bed was comfortable, pillow a bit hard for me but everyone has its taste. The only small negative was that even if it is off the main street, you could sometimes really hear both traffic and people from nearby amusement park but even if I am really a light sleeper, I could sleep well anyway…
