WOW! This place absolutely knocked our socks off! We loved the view, the personal service from our host and the clean, comfortable and well appointed apartment. It had everything we wanted, including onsite parking and free kayaks. I would 100% stay there again and I'll be recommending this place to friends and family.

The only thing I didn’t like was the steep driveway but I’m sure you would get use to it after a while.

Wow this is an amazing property, what a view to wake up to. Everything was clean and new, perfectly equipped with everything that you would need from kitchen items to beach towels. Beds were comfortable, linen lovely, private balcony to sit out was great with a bbq and the short walk down to the beach to walk into town was lovely. My teenage girls loved the kayaks which was a great treat.

The setting is perfect and the property has a wonderful balcony providing a great view of the beach and bay. the property was large and spacious and well furnished with all cooking requirements met. The host was very friendly and helpful. would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands.

Amazing location and views over the Bay of Islands - just stunning. Excellent apartment and facilities - all you need for a great stay. Nothing lacking in space in the apartment, balcony, furnishings inside and out to make a very comfortable and memorable stay. Comfortable bed as well. Theo was an informative host. Nice beach at property's doorstep and a comfortable short walk into town via the beach. Overall excellent value for money.

We didn't like the steep driveway coming in and out, but that cannot be helped. Such driveways are common in New Zealand.

The place was so clean. The views from our extra large balcony were absolutely spectacular. The place was roomy and very comfortable. The hosts Theo and Sopha were extra friendly and helpful, going so far as to drive us into town a couple of times. They were so accommodating in every way without being intrusive. It was a short walk to town that you could walk along the beach unless it was high tide, when you must go around on the main road. It was a steep vigorous climb either way, but we appreciated the exercise.

The roads to get there are steep and it’s a bit difficult to find the place.

The apartment was huge and had all you needed to enjoy your stay. The view from the apartment balcony was stunning and difficult to leave. And it was possible to walk from the apartment to Paihia by the beach instead of always taking the car.

The accommodation could have been so much better. We ate on balcony one evening and next door kept turning off balcony lights since they were shared, but it was only 9pm! The rooms smelt a bit musty and needed freshening up. Although lots of teabags no breakfast tea so had to buy those.mirror to side of wash hand making it more difficult to shave. Wifi really bad and kept dropping. All little things but if remedied would have made a perfect stay If tide is in then difficult walk into town unless you go the long way around

Missed having a hob for cooking. With such an amazing view, the best place for dinner was the balcony.

Spectacular view, great to be able to walk into town along the beach, (though not at night). Spacious and comfortable, lovely bathroom with great shower and bath. Our host Theo met us at the apartment, and was so helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

For us the bed was a little hard but our hosts are looking at that - it was a new mattress... If you are driving then get ready for a fun driveway!

The location was fantastic with an awesome balcony and view. The house was really well equipped (herbs and spices included!) and the hosts friendly and helpful. All in all a brilliant experience, exceeding expectations.

Parking was free and available, but challenging with anything bigger than a compact car. You are situated halfway down the cliffside to the beach. The same thing that gave spectacular views also made for very steep driveway and very tight 5 point turns to park....was it worth it...in my mind, yes...but I would rather not have to.
