Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe breakfast was amazing. My kids especially liked the waffle maker. Freshly made waffle with cream, honey and fresh fruits. I loved the warm breakfast and egg custard pudding with sago 😋. The owners were also friendly and super helpful if you needed anything. The location was also pretty central. Very close to the zoo, westfield Newmarket mall and dominion road with all the Chinese restaurants.

LithuaniaStaff very pleasant. Everything what you would expect was provided, it was actually very clean. Room was quiet and comfortable. Location is also quite good. Is a short walk from train stop and a walk-able distance to Newmarket. The price we paid was a bit high however, but I suspect It might've been due to limited availability since Pink concert was ongoing at the time of the booking.

Very quiet which I was surprised about. Had a lovely undisturbed sleep. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit…lovely and clean with everything we needed for 1 night. Staff were lovely. We did not book a breakfast but staff allowed us to buy a coffee and threw in cookies and coconut balls for a small price.

AustraliaUnit doesn't have any A/C but did have fan and heater. Building has a lift, but if leaving out of reception opening hours the lift stops at level 1 and you have to walk down a flight of stairs to the exit, so it may be difficult for people with heavy luggage.
We were on the 5th floor, so the view was nice.

New ZealandThe internal hallway to access the room was grubby and had a unpleasant smell. The door handles had duct tape over the locking mechanisms, including the bathroom door. The price of the room had been hiked due to the concert we were attending, I guess this is normal practice but very disappointing.
The location was great for what we needed. The bed was comfy and overall location was quiet.

New ZealandThe price, I paid $320 more than what it was really worth and feel taken advantage of. For what we received, I feel we were totally overcharged. We went for Pink, so I guess prices were hiked significantly. The room was smaller than expected and there was no couch but yet there was a huge kitchen table.. so to be able to relax, it wasn’t comfortable because you had to sit at a table or lay down in the bedroom. Very over priced. Staff weren’t too welcoming or obliging to show us where our room was. We also paid to have breakfast, they gave everyone else a coupon and shoved us off. The restaurant had no idea we had paid and were dining in, yet, I heard the lady tell the family before us and gave them a coupon. Felt a little brushed off.

New Zealandparking very busy, I think there may have been more than one car per room. We were lucky we had a small car so able to fit in a small corner park.
Great place, we had a view over the school so it was nice. Seemed nice and quiet the road wasn't too busy, & couldn't hear nextdoor neighbours which is always good. I didn't realise it was 2 levels, had a leg injury so climbing up stairs was slightly sore, but it was manageable. The beds were comfy, large bed definitely had a division which was a little bit strange.
