After reading past reviews was very stressed it was going to be horrible. It wasnt. It was comfortable, simple and basic. Only complaint is no milk for morning coffee.

Two of the pots provided didn't work on the induction cooktop. (When I notified them after my stay they responded very quickly and said they would sort it out so hopefully it has been resolved).

Location was good. Being set back from the road a bit helped reduce road noise. Comfortable stay.

The rooms felt very dated and had a general feeling of making do… Pricing just didn’t quite match the level of accommodation. Compared to other places that are slightly more expensive, the gap in the level of accomodation seems to be significant.

The staff tried to be helpful in the main, and they were friendly in their assistance.

I got the feeling that parts of the Motel were used for Social Housing. If this is the case, it should be noted on the details of the Motel. The bathroom in our room has definitely seen better days with mould in the corners of the shower. It wasn't dirty just very old. The water pressure in the shower was also not great.

The location was good, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of heating.

Room service at 7.30am was not ideal at all!! as the cleaner kept bashing on the door for us to wake up especially when we are away on holiday, and she wouldn't replace any coffee or teas as we had asked.

Comfortable bed. The receptionist when we checked in was lovely the older lady she was absolutely lovely 😊

It took us a while to get our bearings on that part of Christchurch. When we arrived in Christchurch, we had problems deciding what turn off to take from the motorway. Our map reading and Sat nav. was compromised by street closures and a never ending median strip! It was rather a sad trip for us because of illness (one of our party of four had to spend the whole time in bed) and the reason for our trip was difficult times for an older family member resident in Christchurch. The comfort of our unit helped alleviate some of the stress we were all under. Thank you.

The value for money. Although the units were showing their age in terms of paintwork, everything we needed was there. The beds were amongst the most comfortable motel beds we have ever slept in.

Sadly, the motel is used for emergency housing. Lots of locals renting the place making it look cheap!

The room smelt like fish and it looked like someone had prised open the front door with a crowbar in the not too distant past. There was an abandoned vending machine outside the unit and the grass was over grown around the facilities. The unit was pretty tired and aged. One window could not shut properly due to damage. But really, it was the old cooked fish smell that got to us.

Location was excellent because it served our purpose well. Near restaurants and of course the stadium.

couldn’t watch the tv, because the tv wouldn’t turn down, bathroom was full of Spider webs. only had spoons and a fork for cutlery. couch creases were full of old food and crumbs about an inch thick.

Could have been cheaper for the standard of the place, needs upgrading of facilities like the fridge,oven and needs painting and redecorating, and the door had looked like someone had already broken before, the staff were friendly, it a nice area but just needs some work done and better wifi
