That there was no toaster or any type of cooking utensils. Plus we had to get the water for jug from the bathroom. The slide doors did not pull out fully across windows, so felt quite exposed at night.

TV did not work (an internet problem that couldn't be fixed while we were there). Lighting in room not very good with one of the main lights directly behind TV. Only had continental breakfast on first morning (not very good) and no attempt to provide decent coffee.

Lovely view from the room and nice external seating areas. Staff tried to be helpful. Restaurant dinners were excellent. Nice coffee shop across the road. Pleasant walks available on beach and wharf.

There was no remote for the fireplace. We asked staff and they said that the fireplace in the villa didn't work. The TV facing the bed didn't work too, which was disappointing. Not a lot of options for food, especially when traveling on public holidays and if you're vegan.

I emailed ahead that my husband is disabled we need a ground level room no stairs...the email was acknowledged but not responded to. We arrived to a room that could only be accessed by stairs.... Receptionist said sorry we have no other available rooms. She went check again. Yes, very sorry no other rooms. The manager happened to walk by and realised there was an issue. He was quick to rectify....he organized an apartment as that was all that was available....we appreciated that. Our room was serviced the nxt day but we wondered why the floor wasn't vacuumed. I think apartments should get 1ltre milk in the fridge. The restaurant was only available for breakfast so, the apartments should have a functional kitchenette set up...don't you think. Decent sized coffee mugs. .larger kitchen bins...the crockery is just basic, microwave small stove top perhaps This is 2 bedroomed you need to meet the needs of guests especially where there might be families in them. All of those suggestions could be reflected in the cost. But seriously it needs to happen.. We will come back as a family and hopefully find some changes.

We were missing a remote for the tv. The manager said he would deal with it but never did so we had to chase it up with the receptionist on Day 2. The continental breakfast was disappointing in comparison to the dinners and in light of the cost.

The location was sublime. The staff were friendly. Our dinners were excellent.

Shutters were broken in our room and the fridge kept going on and off. A little maintenance is needed. Breakfast was awful. The eggs were cooked in so much vinegar it was unedible (which was gutting, after a lovely dinner there the night before).

View was great. All the facilities are so close and the catering staff were friendly. Dinner was delicious in the restaurant.

We found the wine list limited and extremely expensive. We went to the local store to buy a bottle of Rose for $15 and drank it in our room, rather than pay the $80 - $100 a bottle from the wine list. We would have happily paid up to $50 - $60 for our wine, and had it in the bar had we been able to.

Only downfall there was no microwave in the villa & no milk in the fridge. Tea, coffee & a Kettle provided but no milk & management were kind enough to heat up our food for us. Also both TV's wouldn't work/connect without a chrome cast which reception was kind enough to also supply, however it still wouldn't connect/set up on the tv in the lounge. After 90mins of re-trying & waiting, we tried it on the bedroom tv instead & it finally worked. These 3 things were not a major hassle to us, we were able to really enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back again.

We booked 2 rooms. One room had 2 bedside lamps, the other none. Rooms really need bedside lamps so we moved one lamp to the other room. A grab rail for the shower would improve safety for older guests such as us.

The meal at the restaurant was excellent. The location was superb with the gardens and pool. Very comfortable.

Shower in Unit 21 was marginal. All it needs is to replace 2 plungers behind the shower dial as they wear down over time.
