I had emailed the previous day asking for an early check in and received a vague reply. On the day we arrived about 2 (check in at 3) and they said they room wasn’t ready, however it was guaranteed by three, so we left and came back at 3.05. The room still wasn’t ready so we were given two drink vouchers and a promise of an upgrade. Half an hour later the room was ready, however no upgrade. The room was nice and pleasant however dirty utensils in the draw, a questionable smear by the toilet. I tried to ring room service however the room phone wasn’t working. I ring reception 13 times before they finally answered. The room service didn’t take long which was good.

Loved the location, breakfast was amazing. Most staff were friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed for our stay cation. The art was interesting and quirky, it suited the vibe of the hotel.

Staff don't seem happy and came across a little aloof.

Large room, funky decore in the room and throughout the hotel. Great location in the middle of Wellington city. Noting the hotel shares its reception with QT. Easy walk to multiple restaurants and bars, shopping etc. There is valet parking onsite and parking around the hotel. All expensive of course.

We love the ambience of the property especially the arts, paintings and decors and we enjoyed the facilities such as the gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It is a great place to unwind with your family.

The address on the property on booking.com was not the entrance to use. Unfortunately because of the one way system we had to drive further away to return to the right entrance.

Perfect location. Quiet for being so central. Comfy beds. Staff great after we arrived much earlier than check in time. Would stay again

Advertises washer/dryer in room, but the dryer function does not work. The maintenance man who came up said that the nine-hour (!) time given for drying a load was accurate, but that it doesn't ever really dry things. They just get warm.

Lovely hotel with nice lounge/bar, ecclectic art, and very well appointed rooms.

Water from the shower spread across the bathroom floor as the screen did not contain it. Although there was enough space there was no long or comfy chair to sit on.

The jug in the room boils over. It is too small. The shower next to the bath, floods the whole bathroom.

There were no clean towels in the gym/pool area. Disappointed that Hot Sauce was closed.

The complimentary welcome drinks and the effort to give us a room with a lounge chair. Love the pool and spa.

Minor points but you asked so; Washing / dryer machine took over 4 hrs to wash then another 3hrs to dry but it worked. Lighting in the rooms was dim, difficult to find stuff in the wardrobe, you'll know what I mean when you stay there but that's the vibe of the hotel.

Great location close to everything in town and the waterfront.

The bedroom and bathroom need updating. Not up to the usually immaculate standards. Online said restaurant not open so we assumed no breakfast. Disappointed to find on checkout that breakfast was available. Complete absence of communication on an important point.

The room was lovely and the location close to restaurants. Just was far from venue for my meetings. I booked there as was not able to book my preferred hotel.

Bathroom could have been better appointed, the shower could have been better and the lack of fan extraction meant the mirror fogged up very easily
