The WiFi connection wasn't so good.

The atmosphere in Nomads is great, wonderful people who work there or stay there for a few nights. The location is perfect for experiencing Wellington. Next to Cuba Street.

Staff were quite rude. Place to leave bags before check in was overcrowded so nowhere safe to leave them. One toilet in common area which was pretty disgusting. Like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Private room was okay, had a weird smell.

    Good location.

Two windows in my room were really old. One didn't even open, and the curtains in those windows barely closed the windows. Slightly overpriced.

Good access to Wellington's main attractions and waterfront. Close by to Cuba Street, Te Papa. Nice people. Interesting place.

Not so clean bedding, no plug charger next to bed

The bedding didn't look very clean, the pillows case, etc. They duvet that was on my bed wasn't the right size and wasn't even a duvet, was a small bed mattress cover!). I went downstairs I think they only wash the sheet that the give you, because the duvet sheet and the sheet covering and the hostel friendly staff lady apologised and brought to my room straigh away another one, the correct size of duvet. the mattres sheet didn't look clean. They smell... and didn't look fresh No plug to charge your phone close to the bed. Specially if you are on the top of the bunk bed! Also, in order to have electricity in the room (and for the plugs to work) someone in the room has to keep their room card in the thing, connected! So if you need to go to the toilet or downstairs, you need to get your card to get into the room and open tje corridor doors for security, the phone you left in the room is not charging. Unless that someone else put their card in. I haven't seen this ever! And it is not a nz thing because I have been travelling in the north island for a while these days. Toilets are just ok, only 1 shower and 1 toilet per side of the corridor. A bit small too. Depends on the time of the day, they were clean or not

Location, just a short walk to Te Papa museum, and the popular Cuba street and all the restaurants and cafés. Also, close to the cable car station and the main shopping area. The bus stop to the airport is around the corner. So convenient! Very friendly and helpful staff, all great!

There was a lot of potential, but the cleanliness didn’t allow for more. The restroom ceiling had shown mold, there wasn’t venting in restrooms. The kitchen was a mess on counters and in the sinks. While I love flavor and spices, it hung in the air and clang to you.

Property was a good location. Decent space in the rooms. Activities at nights for social interaction.

We didn’t use kitchen as it was pretty small and crowded. Had to get bedsheets replaced when we checked in as there was some nasty stains on them. Bed was on wheels and would move if you sat on it. Curtain didn’t fit on window so bright in morning.

Wasn’t sure how it would be after reading previous reviews, but we booked a private room. Had an en-suite which was clean and overall good value for money. Good location, lot of restaurants etc around.

Because it is a hostel with group rooms it was a little noisy with bathroom doors loudly shutting in the night.

The location is perfect as a stepping off point to explore Wellington..we loved the old hotel touches from stair rails to exterior graciousness. Our shower was wonderfully hot.
