The walk around to the men's showers was badly lit at night.

Very reasonable cost, good size room, lots of native birds around the place. We practically had the place to ourselves so could hang out in the dining/lounge area as long as we liked. Great value for money.

The flies in the cottage! Really yuck. The TV didn't work, we weren't told the internet logon. A couple of bunk mattresses were almost non-existent.

The heater, the cottage was well appointed, the secret room was loved by the children, the bathroom was good, water pressure and heat was great. And seeing kiwi was awesome!

The carpark was free (always a bonus) although it was a bit tight if two cars needed to be parked by the cabins. Personally, I'd love a small UHT milk than having packet creamer in the room.

We could upgrade our cabins very easily and were met by a delightfully friendly and helpful reception staff! Loved the new pool and the highlight was seeing 3 kiwi roaming around the back of the park at 10.30pm!

Basic shower. Somewhat tired decor. Small window blind missing.

Ideally situated between ferry and Russell. Easy drive into town. Pool looked lovely but was closed the day we arrived because of a storm. All cleaned up promptly. Nice cabin with private deck looking towards river.

Unfortunately the whole park is a bit run down and needs lots of love. We believe next visit it will be like new as a new management took over and they were quickly responding to our requests.

The management team was exceptional, they went the extra mile and sorted any issues straight away. We told them about the fridge not keeping low temperatures and they brought a brand new fridge within two hours. That was awesome!

Shower kept going cold, went for a swim came back to a lot of ants on the bench, bed in larger room was a bit soft and kept rolling into the middle. Happened to be alot of fishermen and their boats 15+ quite alot of noise and partying going on but being a fair distance away from main block it wasn't too bad. Still enjoyed my stay here besides these minor faults.

Have Stayed here before in the family room, this time booking into the 2 bedroom bungalow self contained unit, had a large fridge, 4 burner gas stove, well equipped kitchen, liked it alot. Awesome pool and playground for children, tidy and clean

the only thing was our curtain in room 9 didn't go right across the sliding door so wasn't that private.

family friendly, beautiful brand new pool me and my son were the first to swim in it and also dog friendly ☺️

The park is well located, the bird life is amazing, renovation is underway, the cleanliness is the best it can be while this is occurring...a bit of mould on outdoor cushions with a woven cane suspended from the outdoor deck is to be expected. This place is unique and well worth a visit.
