Rooms are quite dated. Also quite noisy but we didn’t mind that. Amenities were ok but expected a bit more for the price. Phone to ring reception did not work. Advertised room appeared to be on a high level but was put on level 2.

    Location was great, friendly staff

Parking was a bit iffy - public parking complex just a block away but was hard to stop in front of the hotel to drop off/pick up as there is a cab rank. There were stairs as well to deal with leading into the lobby. There is a ramp on the side but not the most convenient if you have lots of luggage.

Great location in Viaduct Harbour close to a lot of restaurants and bars accessible by foot. Sushi Train was right next to the entrance that was great option for a quick/late meal as we arrived at 9pm.

We had balcony rooms which was great, but they did warn us (on checking in only) that it may be noisy on the weekend. There are nightclubs around, so the music noise was constant until early morning, even with our doors and windows closed. The apartments could do with a redo, carpet stained etc. but still serviceable.

Very centrally located on the viaduct harbour. Walk down directly to fabulous restaurants and all Auckland has to offer. Beautiful view, great apartment, spacious, full amenities.

The pillows and the bed. Pillows need to be less high profile for me. I threw mine away and placed a scatter cushion under my head as I could not stand the loft of the bed pillows. For the price I would have expected to have a better quality of kitchen utensil equipment. But overall we enjoyed our stay in Auckland and the vibe this huge spread out city has to offer.

The view over Aqueduct Harbour great. BUT the LOUD music from one of the restaurants in the Marina complex was not good for people not involved with their party, two nights from the three we stayed. The rooms were spacious but in serious need of a makeover. Loved sitting on the balcony enjoying a drink surveying and looking at life around us. Glad we had a harbourview room.

I Travel a lot and the only gripe I have with Sebel Viaduct is the billing process. I always have to chase my invoices every stay and this last time they missed some charges so invoiced me again which is fair, but I have been asking for an invoice to match my expenses for two months and still haven't received it despite four phone calls. This is the only hotel I have issues with invoicing. There is certainly room for improvement or even staff training.

always a good spot to stay for my travel

Excellent room with good outlook over Viaduct Harbour. Room had a living room, balcony, separate bedroom, a small kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The hotel does not itself provide food but there is food available adjacent to the hotel.

The noise of the bars went until 0200 on Friday and Saturday night. May bother some people. The room needed new pillows, luggage racks, and another chair to sit in. Black mould around the shower trap and surrounds needs to be cleaned as it makes the place look dirty.

Excellent location to use the ferries, and plenty of eating places around, including excellent Thai takeaways. View from the room over the viaduct was great as there was always something going on. Daily room service. Taxi stand at the door. Staff were excellent sorting out an issue.
