The only improvements would be significant building maintenance. Whilst the decor created great atmosphere; we were in an executive suite with a lounge dining area furnished with what would have originally been upper end furnishings, curtain fittings were broken and some timber was rotting. The bath room was big and had the best spa bath we have experienced. There appears to be an ongoing maintenance programme which will take this lodge to a high standard all round standard

The location, staff, food and facilities were exceptional. We also liked the ambience of the bar.

Much general maintenance required. Missing lightbulbs, broken hinge on the shower door, type things in the room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was and compared to other hotels.

Location along the lake was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very spacious room with a little balcony facing the water was great. Comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was clean. Very high water pressure in the shower.

Nothing I didn't like as such, however the whole complex, gardens, rooms etc are showing their age and maybe a full "cleanup/make over" should be seriously considered now, before more serious deterioration sets in! The On-site resturant... Sorry but very over priced for what is presented, I am not referring to the portion size (A La French Small) but the quality of the produced used and the way in which it is cooked! You can't hide burnt food! $18 for 2 under sized scallops and 1 prawn on a bed of what tasted like rehydrated potatoe mash... hmmm The lamb was tasty but again, of low quality. However the cheese board was pretty good, thanks. So yeah, OR run it into the ground,.. owner's call at the end of the day isn't it!

Quite (generally speaking, some guests lack this consideration) Certainly the vista is stunning. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and were very engaging, had a couple of giggles, combined with conversations. And lastly the bed was comfortably soft and a good couple of night sleeps were had.

The uncleanliness, fingerprints on the door of the room & the spa smelt funky. The place could be so beautiful but it's very outdated and untidy. Needs some love!

A bit of maintenance required, the bathroom louvers needed repair so it took tow hands to open it.

The view from Bed to lake wonderful, you can sit in the bath open the louvers and enjoy the view. The food was really good.

The buffet breakfast was OK and it wan't clear you could just order from the menu - which was actually much nicer than the buffet I thought.

The view and surroundings were exceptional. The pool and the spa were great. The facilities in the exec suite room were brilliant too and that was an excellent size. The staff were friendly and helpful.

No mattress cover, although the mattress was plush and comfortable bedding and all was clean, when you laid I could feel the pattern in mattress. No aircon in the bedroom as the heated flooring from the bathroom overheated into the bedroom even when the door was closed.

Loved that even though it was right next to the road you couldn't hear the cars going past. The surroundings and tranquillity was all exceptionally beautiful. Spa bath in our suit just being able to just be in our own room and not have to share, just relax and chill.

Dirty outside the room, the bathroom and restaurant. Lake view meant looking at a carpark then the lake behind, so limited. VERY noisy floor from upstairs room occupant walking like an elephant. Breakfast was a shambles with not enough food put out for all the guests.

A few small things needed maintenance (peeling paint, garden chair, small hole on bathroom wall from previous towel rail) but nothing major and nothing that bothered us.

When people walked in the room upstairs we could hear the sound. Not the quietest I would say.

The view and access to the backyard were awesome. Kids loved playing with the big chess board.
