Very nice, new and clean facility, right in the center of the town, Fraser and Anne were so nice and helpful, very good (warm) breakfast with a big honey selection, could do our laundry there (with dryer).

parking a little tight would be fine if other clients new how to park, a little hallway noise but very accommodating for a one night stay for a business man that has a lot of catch up to do.

Nothing. It was the best place we stayed at in NZ

The service was spectacular! Breakfast each morning was delicious and made to order by the gracious hosts. Our room overlooked Roy's Peak, had a heater, and the en suite bathroom was huge. The shower felt great after a day of exploring around Wanaka and a long road trip. The accommodation was within 10 minutes walking to anywhere down by the lake, so we never had to worry about driving/parking/drinking. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulously smiley and friendly greetings every morning. Amazing breakfasts , just the perfect serving size. Nothing was a problem, and heaps of humor too. Wonderful quiet place, perfect for unwinding from work, and having a real holiday. They even phoned to say I had left an item of clothing, and are sending it on. Lovely people. Looking forward to going back :)

We like to keep up with NZ and World news so were very disappointed that there was no radio reception. A second disappointment was the limited TV services.

I spent $20 using the washing machine (The host will donate the money to an charity organisation), thought it'll be better if the amount can be decided by the user.

The room is super clean, the design of its open closet is convenient for us to unpack and pack. Location is good, 5 minutes walk to the town center and to the lake. Breakfast is delicious.

Feel that the cooked breakfast, whilst well cooked, was a bit light on variety and quantity. Needs to match the quality of the beautiful room, garden, and service ( and room rate$). Remember it’s the last experience the client has before leaving!

The lodge is located in a quiet corner at the end of a lane. It is about 5-10 min walk to the town centre. The room is clean and comfy. Host was being helpful in recommending restaurants. Good breakfast was cooked by the host. Overall a nice stay, but feel the price was a bit on the high end.

Stayed a few nights on a NZ road trip. Extremely friendly hosts. Property is a 5min walk to town, has free parking, good 'road trip facilities' ie a fridge and laundry. Excellent breakfast - cooked to order or continental. Would stay again. Would be classified as a B&B in the US. Request Fog Peak room for the deck and the view

Softer tissues and a quieter wall heater although this did not need a lot of use as the rooms are quite warm. Heated bathroom floor tiles in the next refurbishment would be a good addition.

Received us with rude glare when we pressed the lodge bell at 11pm at night. Hostile attitude when unfortunately we were delayed in turning up at the lodge. "You all just cared about having your fun, and turning up late at 11pm at our lodge and not giving us a call" was the 'welcoming' remark by the lodge owner. And expected u to thank him every time when he opened the door for you, otherwise you would be told off.

We spent 8 nights at Wanaka Springs and we can't fault anything - we loved it. It's such a cosy place and the couple that own and run the lodge are such generous & lovely people. It's a very short stroll to the main street, the rooms are spotless, beds comfortable, breakfasts delicious (especially the French toast with maple syrup and bacon!) and there's also a cosy lounge room with open fireplace where you can read a book with a glass of Pinot in hand from one of the local wineries. Highly recommended!

So friendly, warm and inviting in every way. The breakfasts was outstanding, best of any of our stays during our recent trip to New Zealand and Australia. We would return again in a heartbeat.
