Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Good location near all Restaurant & city center. Tourist attractions were within 15-30 mins drive. Spacious room with good housekeeping on daily basis. Kids enjoyed pool & breakfast. Comfortable beds in room.

WiFi was very slow and often didn't work well, and I ended up having to use data from my sim most of the time. Bath/shower also was not in the greatest condition, considering the rest of the room was very well maintained.
Room was spacious and offered comfortability and practicality. Staff were always friendly and efficient. In the context of Muscat, being a spread out city, the location is pretty good. Mosque nearby as well as restaurants, grocery shops, all within 6-7mins walk.

Limited spread in breakfast buffet, some staff could have been more welcoming. no one asked for beverages,water which is normally the basic service one expects.

During all nights there were working on a building next to the hotel. It was noisy from the early evening to the morning! Crazy. They worked only during the night. Beside this it was very nice stay!
Beds were so comfy! Stuff was very nice. Nice pool view! And close to the AirPort and city center.

The street is incredible noisy and the window doesn't lock tightly, so you can hear the street even with the window closed. The tub is hard to get into an out for small people, I always risked to slip.
Incredibly spacious room, comfortable huge bed, every day 2 bottles of water for free. Very clean and very friendly staff. We'll come back. Not in the center, but loads of restaurants and malls around. The Red Mwsalat bus stops just 5 min from the hotel and goes to the centre (with a switch) or directly to the airport.

none so far. Our request for bathrobes and slippers took time though but we understand because there's a lot of rooms to attend to but we still got them anyway. Though the jacuzzi was on a bit of construction, the sauna was working that time and we enjoyed it too.
We booked a De Luxe Family Suite room and it was wonderful! The rooms are so spacious with 3 bathrooms and 2 bathtubs plus a very spacious living room with a very big TV. There are TV on both rooms too. It was clean and cozy. The location is great as it is in the city center and very close to restaurants, grocery, shops and exchange. Easy to get a taxi too if you want to go somewhere. The breakfast has a lot of spread to choose from. The pool in the rooftop is great! We had great time using the sauna too. The whole stay was awesome!

Hallway had a dirt and odd smelling carpet, house keeping didn’t make daily visits, I returned them on one day coz family was resting and next day they didn’t bother to visit.
Location is excellent and they provide free parking, staff is very helpful, lots of different restaurants within walking distance, breakfast provided by the hotel was nice and value for money, we booked an apartment and it was very spacious and private. All facilities were great.

It is in the city centre, close to a main road and therefore quite noisy. Also on the wonderful roof, the street noise is very present.

Some aspects of the decor were a little tired, but everything worked well. The ventilation was a little noisy. But these are minor quibbles - we had a great stay.
Huge room. Large and comfy bed. Rapid response to problem - a defective water heater was fixed in minutes. Outstanding value for money. Nice pool.

Breakfast nearly 20 Eur so i didn't take it. My room had an unpleasant humid smell; for more nights i would have asked for another room.
Good hotel with rooftop pool and nice gym. Room was large. Close to a small shopping mall and some good restaurants in walking distance.
