Very beautiful property, palm trees all around. The room had traditional decorations and was comfortable. The hotel is very central, only a few minutes walk from the fort and the souk. The staff was nice and helpful, and the owner was very kind.

All good for what we needed - easily accessible for our one night stay in Nizwa. Breakfast was tasty (nice eggs- Thankyou!), but it's very limited (bread for toast, and some apples / bananas/tea/coffee). However, lots of options in Nizwa for around 2Rials (£4).

Lovely clean and spacious room, decorated in traditional Omani decor. Parking outside on the road, and an easy 5m walk through some little streets to Nizwa centre / castle /fort. Great Aircon. Staff were friendly, although kept out of your way.

It's a great location in farms so close to old town and the fort. It's a beautifully refurbished old farm/house in tradition style. Also a nice quiet location tucked off the street. Large room with good AC.

The location was very good, with the souks within walking distance. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was helpful. We were able to check in early. We visited the goat market (only on Fridays), and it was amazing—unlike anything we had ever seen. Make sure you arrive on time, or you might miss it!

I stayed with my family in this beautiful place. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the view of palm and banana trees was an incredible experience. Most importantly, Hanif, the wonderful person who gives this place its soul, made us feel at home and did everything he could for us. As a hotelier, I noticed some issues that could be improved. For example, the faucet in my room was not properly fitted, and the curtains in my family’s room had come loose. I would have expected the management of such a beautiful place to be more attentive and address these issues proactively. Additionally, while Hanif was an amazing host managing the entire operation, I felt that he deserved at least some assistance to recognize his hard work. Thank you for everything, Hanif! Hope to see you again.

We had to parc the car outside in stead off inside the walls. Outsifde was enough parking space but the impression on the site was that within the premisses there would be space, but there where to many cars of other guests. That possibility should have been mentioned on the site I think. The owner was not very symphatetic or respectful towards his employee who did all the work while he was standing next to him.

Nice big, clean room, good bathroom, able to sit outside on te balcony and a separat kitchenette with fridge! The view to the garden was very nice and the citycentre was on walking distance.

We had a large room overlooking an absolutely beautiful garden with palm and banana trees. The whole area is like an oasis. This would be enough of a reason to pick this hotel. Location is excellent as the historical center of Nizwa is a few steps away.

Lovely garden setting. This is a traditional small guesthouse, in very peaceful surroundings. There was only one staff member, but he was wonderfully helpful and took excellent care of us- from checking us in and making our breakfasts, he was so attentive. The fort and old souk were 2 minutes walk away and we had a lovely time exploring in the morning and then relaxing in the shady gardens before heading out again in the evenings.

We had a wonderful stay in Date Palm Inn. Although we were a large group of 10, Hanif(the caretaker) took excellent care and was very prompt to attend to our needs. The stay was very comfortable and the greenery around the property was a welcome bonus. The breakfast was basic but very nice and was enjoyed by all. The masala tea was very good.

A little oasis in the city, with very nice and big rooms and kitchen facilities. you can get breakfast if you want, but it is possible to make your own. The garden had a small swing, which was great for our daughter. The owner was very nice.

the owner was a very good person a highly educated Omani, you love to talk to him and interact, they need to shift the place to the next level by invest more in the AC, the carpet, the Landscape and pest control,etc..
