Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing I disliked. Just a bath towel would have been nice.
The real highlight of this camp is the setting — absolutely stunning. With very few other camps in the vicinity, it feels peaceful and secluded, making it the perfect place to switch off and enjoy complete tranquility. I visited during the low season when the heat keeps many travelers away, which meant I had the camp entirely to myself. Spending the night alone in the desert was a unique experience I’ll never forget. The host was also incredibly attentive, and the meals were excellent — the camel meat in particular was delicious. I would recommend this camp for the hospitality alone The camp itself is quite basic, but that’s to be expected given the price, which is noticeably more affordable than other hotels or camps in the area. For me, it matched what I paid for: a simple, authentic desert stay in an incredible location.

CanadaWish there was a source of drinking water outside of the common patio area; during the night if you are thirsty but there are people sleeping in the patio area, you are just thirsty for the rest of the night 😅 The dune bashing is more of a rough ride through the desert. Still very enjoyable. If Syed asks if you want to do something crazy, you must say yes to get a very unique and thrilling experience.
Absolutely beautiful view midway on a hill. Unlike the other sites, it feels like a natural camping experience; the other places are just glorified hotels. The tents were well kept and the beds were nice. The common area was very outdoor patio-like and is the only place that has outlets. It's a pretty isolated area which means the night sky is amazing; bring a telescope or binoculars. I went on May 2nd, so day time it was 36 deg but night time there's a very nice strong wind that passes by for 30-40 minutes and a light breeze that's always constantly blowing. You can just sleep outside under the open sky very comfortably, or open both ends of the tent to allow the wind to pass through. And the best part of the desert is minimal to no bugs!!! 10/10 would do again. Syed is very accommodating and a prankster. Brings the guests together and chats during a nice meal. Felt very homey even as a solo traveler.

New ZealandA magical place, no other camps nearby. Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

AustraliaMaybe bigger windows on the tents for more airflow.
If you love the great outdoors you will love it here! Such a laid-back and relaxing camp to be in. It’s small; not too many tents and not many lights and is so quiet. Said is a friendly, warm and helpful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him! He comes from a family of Bedouins and still lives in the desert himself so you know you are getting an authentic experience. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and transport to and from the meeting point was FREE, which is awesome because we didn’t have a 4x4 to get there. We really loved our stay at SandGlass Camp.

RussiaSunset and sunrise is great frome hill (5 min from camp). Camp has free transfer from town! Said is a wonderful host. He organized an interesting unique accommodation in the desert, he organized a delicious traditional dinner and breakfast. And he also managed to create an atmosphere of friendship and unity between the residents. People from different countries gathered for dinner, breakfast and just casually and shared their impressions. Said is an interesting, positive, smart person who makes sure that his clients have fun and are interested! I would like to separately note that in the evenings it is great to sit by the fire, tell and listen to stories and admire the stars in the desert. This experience is priceless. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this desert camp!

Czech RepublicAccommodation on the edge of the desert, right under a high dune. We were there all alone overnight. Said was an excellent host, he picked us up at the agreed place, so you don't need a 4x4. Walks around the area and the sunset was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were perfect and I recommend to buy.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed with our two children, 11 and 9, and the desert experience was perfect for them - adventurous but not challenging for them. They did the camel rides and we all did the 4x4 dune ride and sunset. Everything ran smoothly, including the pick-up (normal car is fine to reach the pick-up point). Food was good. We loved our time there.

PolandAbsolutely outstanding experience! You are in the middle of desert, enjoying the lonely dunes… and in the same time you have a great comfort in terms of accommodation, electricity, super clean toilet, shower, delicious food and all of this happens in a super-cozy atmosphere, because Said and his brother know how to do it in a great manner. The perfect place to meet your best desert sunset and sunrise. 🧭 Logistic: you can park your car and Said & Bro will pick you into the desert, thus 4x4 car is not mandatory 👌🏻 🌅 Coffee and dates during the sunrise is just magnificent!
