The view of Jebel Shams was very beautiful and the location of the villa was easy to access. The villa was very clean and well equipped with all the amenities such as air conditioning and shower facilities. The owner of the villa was very kind and helped us with our family's campfire and barbecue. We also ordered dinner and breakfast separately, which was reasonably priced and allowed us to experience the taste of traditional Oman. The villa yard was spacious, so I pitched a tent for my daughter, who loved it.

The location was amazing, very clean and in a super quiet area, the bbq pit was awesome, had the best sleep on top of the mountain. The kitchen and cookware are also a plus for cooking and enjoying some coffee in the morning. Our host Musa was of great help, and will stay here again 👍🏻👍🏻

A few minor improvements would be to fix some areas that need extra cleaning, upgrade the kitchen equipment, and repair the flush in one of the washrooms. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it to others!

Great Value and Wonderful Stay at Sunset House! My family and I had a fantastic stay at Sunset House. The property offered a lot of space and privacy, which was perfect for our family, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The house was clean and ready when we arrived, and the host was incredibly gracious, even offering us a dinner choice of homemade traditional Omani food, which was absolutely delicious. He also offered to arrange a guide, provided breakfast, and was always available for any assistance we needed. The stay was excellent value for money, considering the space, privacy, and personalized attention we received. Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed every moment of our time here.

We had an incredible stay at the Sunset House in Jabal Shams. The host (Mr. Mousa) went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. When one of our cars broke down on the way, he personally came to pick us up and took us to the villa in his own car. After taking us to the villa located on top of the mountain, he went back, took the broken car to a mechanic, and had it fixed! Not only that, but he invited us for lunch twice and was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay. His hospitality truly made our trip memorable. The villa itself was comfortable, well-equipped and super clean beds and rooms, and the stunning views of Jabal Shams added to the experience. Highly recommended!

The place was in a good location close to many attractions. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to queries. He welcomed us with dates and Omani coffee and even made arrangements for locally cooked food upon request. Highly recommend for those who wish to reach the summit by hiking

The host was very insistent that we leave him a positive review online as soon as we arrived at the house. The description of the property amenities on Booking.com is misleading, as it says that a swimming pool is on the property. There was no swimming pool there. The kitchen lacked plates, so if you plan on self-catering, bring your own.

The host was very friendly and communicative, helping us get to the house from the main road. The location was excellent, just off the main road and close to the Balcony Walk and Summit Walk. Electricity was steady throughout, and hot water was available in the bathrooms. The outdoor dining space was well done.

The location was great and the place was very clean. The host was very welcoming. The host made sure that he was aware of when we would arrive so that he could meet us and ensure that all our questions were answered. We were welcomed with qahwa, fresh fruits, biscuits and dates which was very nice. We picked the place because we wanted to take our dog with us, so it was great that the place was pet friendly!

Location is perfect, very close to Balcony Walk. The host are amazing - very generous and hospitable (we did not have a 4WD car and they enquired about our car and picked us up from the road to ensure safe drive for a very reasonable price). We were greeted with coffee, dates and fruit. The rooms itself are freshly renovated and very clean.

Hosts were very welcoming and provided water, coffee, and fruits. Nice terrace, ideal for having your meals. Great location, making it a short drive to all relevant hiking spots and viewpoints. No 4WD needed to reach the property.

Equipment is kind of basic, kitchen is well equiped, but it didn't look quite clean. Also rooms were not as clean as I expected. Quite expensive dinner - 5 OMR per person. For 4 persones it is quite expensive. For one night it is good. Overall servis was good.

Location is great. There are not so many options, this was good. Host arranged dinner from 3rd party, this was well organized. Accomodation is good for 6-7 persons.

location is very close to the start of the Balcony Walk - Ahmed ( the host ) is also a very good tour guide that can bring you to the best hidden treasures in the neighbourhood !!!
