The water pressure was a bit weak, but that didn't bother me because I took a shower. If you wanted to use the large soaking tub, it will take a long time for it to fill up.

I got upgraded to the nearby Bait Almuallem that's owned by the same owners. It is an absolutely stunning room and 400 year old building, formerly a teacher's home that was partially restored. Communication with the staff before and during the visit was very good. The location is ideal - in the old town, with Nizwa Fort only a 3-5 minute walk away and the Souq a 5-8 minute walk away. The building has terrace access with a panoramic view of Nizwa Fort and the city wall. The room comes with a refrigerator and water and plenty of power outlets. Also, very importantly, the air conditioning was very strong. Breakfast is at the nearby Niz Cafe and was very good (traditional Omani meal). Shukran, Adnan, and team for a great stay!

A truly special place – the highlight of our trip to Oman! Bait Al Muallem by Nomad Inn is without a doubt the best hotel we stayed at during our journey. The building, once owned by a teacher, has been beautifully and lovingly restored, preserving its historic charm while offering modern comfort. We were lucky to have the best room, complete with a stunning bathroom, thoughtful details throughout, and even a Nespresso machine for tea and coffee. A heartfelt thank you to Adnan, the hotel manager, and the entire team – everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We originally planned to stay for one night but ended up extending to four nights because we felt so at home. An unforgettable experience – we will definitely be back!

A bit dirty under the bed with empty bottles used by other guests. The room and bathroom were a bit small.
