Although the hotel has a security guard, we would recommend for them to use a identification tag as other hostels do, because we noticed that the employees would ask from time to time if we were guests there.

Stayed on a bedroom in the 3rd floor, very good facilities. Cleaning was acceptable and the ladies came everyday. All equipment worked. They let us checkin earlier and checkout a bit later.

I wish there was a way to boil water for tea, coffee, hot cereal. I brought my own but had to use my bed surface and night stand for prep. There should atleast be a common area with small counter electric kettle and sink for this. Maybe a cutting board and knife for slicing fruit. If nothing in the rooms there needs to be a common zone for it.

Loved having a small balcony w table and chair to enjoy my morning coffee and evening tea. View over the water to lanchas coming and going and loud music at neighboring restaurants was all part of the in-town ambience. Fun and part of experiencing the place.

Came on Saturday night, didn't expect the music to be that loud. It's a party hostel.. I know, but the music was going till 4am with people caraoke-ing Danza kuduro :D You could hear music in the room very loud and clear. Also the private room was super small and smelled like a wet neoprene suits were hang in there.

The location is perfect and the terrace has amazing views, really calm for chill day or event for working. Wifi was working really well. The staff was super nice and helpful as I've decided to cancel my reservation after first night. It just wasn't a good fit for me, but my younger party me would probably enjoyed.

I personally chose Selina for a Friday night knowing that the filthy friday party would have been partially taking place here, and really liked it. However if someone is searching for a more relaxing hotel/ hostel at the weekend, this is probably not the best choice as the party easily go on until 3am.

Central and clean hotel, with a bar, and restaurant, a deck, a surf centre, water taxi transportation just in front of the pier. Exactly what you could ask for.

Big DJ two doors down on the water was very loud till 4-5am. Told desk people next day. They said we should had been informed about it and that we should had received ear plugs upon checking, but we didn’t. Mattress could and been better. Doors to bathroom should be quieter as they were slamming often at night.

Location. The restaurant and bar overlooking river was great and the associates were friendly and service oriented on the deck.

The noise during night is really intense and need to clary that I was informed by the hotel about the noise during night but being honest is really loud.

The place and staff are really nice, is close to the airport, grocery stores and restaurants. The bar is one of the best in the island and offer a variety of options for drinks and food. Also, you can pay by card without any issue.

Make sure you bring bug repellent. We were getting bitten by something that wasn’t mosquitoes or bed bugs. This isn’t strictly a Selina thing, but a Bocas thing. We had a private bathroom in our room and the shower wasn’t that great so we would use the shared bathroom. You have to pay for the coworking space, which we thought was going to be free but maybe we missed that in the description.

Great location! Clean! I loved that they had activities every night for people who want to socialize and meet people from around the world! It is a party hostel but it shuts down to outsiders by 12am. The showers in the shared bathroom have amazing pressure and have hot water. AC in the private rooms was great! The staff was really nice and accommodating. We would stay here again!

It’s pretty pricey, there are cheaper options in the area but you do get what you pay for.

Great location. Close to the center of town, everything you’d need is nearby. Ideal location if you’re going to Filthy Friday. The office is just across the street, the party starts and ends at Selina. Comfy beds, rooms kept clean. Reliable Wi-Fi. Kitchen facilities for guests. Keep in mind that the filtered tap water is NOT potable. AC can be kept on all day heh.

The mark ups are quite ridiculous. The restaurant is quite expensive, as are any extras within Selina for the same service- just buy from the other street vendors, who advertise the exact same thing for less. The tours in particular are quite expensive. We went on the Cayo Zapatilla tour and were quite disappointed. While the water we snorkeled in was clear, we only had 35 mins. The dolphin watching consisted of several boats herding the dolphins into the one area, which seemed very cruel. We were then told to order our lunch at a restaurant for it to be ready two and a half hours later, at 2:30pm, and were taken to sit on a beach for 2 hours. No one told us that we would not be eating lunch until 2:30 and to bring snacks. The lunch was also tiny for how much we paid, and very ordinary. We also noticed that we were given meals half the size of the boat drivers and other locals (they had two domes of rice and double serve of protein, while we only had one).

The hostel itself is quite lovely, a good layout, and is constantly being cleaned by staff. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and we were kindly upgraded upon check-in. The shared kitchen is huge and very well equipped. The restaurant and deck are so nice to sit at, with big fans creating a lovely breeze at all times. Restaurant food is lovely, but quite expensive. Included breakfast is great but more restricted choices than other Selina’s. The place is very chill during the week, with most people being there from Thursday night to Monday morning for Filthy Fridays. The after party for Filthy Fridays was held at Selina, which is very convenient if you’re participating, but would be rough noise-wise if you’re not.
