Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Erika was above and beyond the perfect host. Her meticulous attention to detail was only exceeded by the genuine warmth and caring for you as her guest. The property itself is unique in this part of Miraflores, and Erika and Barbara help bring the history of it to life. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts are a story in themselves, changing daily. Having experienced a delayed arrival due to a flight cancellation. Erika kept in touch minute by minute to ensure we arrived swiftly and were safely installed even though it was around midnight. I cannot find superlatives good enough to sum up our experience as a whole, but I can only say we will stay again. And recommend any first-time visitor to Lima to do the same.

The hotel was charming & the rooms were decorated with vintage & antique furniture. Breakfast was included & delicious. It was served in a patio/garden area in front of the hotel near the street, but private. The location was convenient to restaurants & and a grocery store. It was within walking distance to ocean views. Erika & Barbara were extremely helpful and accommodating.

United StatesThe only thing that comes to mind that people might want to know in advance is that it can be a bit noisy in the late evening. (My room faced a road with both vehicular and foot traffic, so this may not be the case with the other rooms.) It wasn’t a problem for me because I travel with a noise machine.
This was such a charming bed and breakfast! Comfortable, cozy and unique—a great find in Lima. The food was delicious—Santiago is a wonderful chef who managed to come up with great gluten-free breakfasts every day. I especially appreciated that he tried to vary the menu over my four-day stay—different local fruits, different sides and main dishes. And Erika cannot be beat as a manager—she made sure that everything was perfect for my stay. She is like a ray of sunshine. Honestly, she should be running the tourism business in Lima. She told me about a tsunami alert when I mentioned that I wanted to go to Paracas, then proceeded to stay in touch with a friend of hers there to see if the government opened the port. Tourist Information didn’t know anything about it until I mentioned it to them. Erika also suggested a great place to see Peruvian singing and dancing; I ended up being the only foreigner there. So much fun!

BrazilThe only reason why I don’t give it a ten is the noise. It is not the hotel’s fault. Lima is noise and the traffic is intense. the hotel is located on a Main Street so you here the traffic noise all the time.
Erika was very welcoming and made our stay even more special. She gave us very good advice and was always in a good mood. The hotel is very cute and comfortable.

United KingdomNothing, everything was just perfect. The hotel didn’t currently have any internal option for breakfast, but they have works in progress to make it possible and anyway there is plenty of cafes nearby.
The venue is really pretty both from the exterior and the interior. It looks like time has stopped and the hectic life of Lima can’t reach you here. Our room was delightful, plenty of comfort and with several personal touches, even a message with our name on it. Erika greeted us with the most warm welcome she showed us the hotel, the facilities and gave us the best tips to explore the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better greeting. She really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, even offering to let us stay in an empty room the day after when we had our flight at midnight. Honestly, we can’t recommend this place more.

The bathroom should get some design award by itself. The receptionist is the most charming and helpful person you can imagine. Comfortable bed. Lots of restaurants around.
