The hotel is in a strategic location, just a few steps from Plaza de Armas. The staff was kind and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The room was a bit small and lacked a window, but it was still comfortable enough for an enjoyable stay.

I had a pleasant experience overall, but there’s an Important detail to note: the hotel has two different locations. I was thrilled to find a good hotel at a great price near Plaza Mayor in Arequipa, especially after a long bus journey. However, I was disappointed to learn that my booking was actually at their other location, which is quite far from the plaza. Thankfully, they arranged and covered the taxi fare to take me to the other hotel, but the mix-up was frustrating. Just be sure to double-check your booking location before you arrive!

The shower room create a very dampy smelling after use. So prefer if air ventilation include. Steep stairs before going in hotel. We arrived at 5am, they made us wait until 11.30am for our room to be ready, despite told them that we’ll arrive at 5am. Still they made us wait for so long time, no offers for drink or etc. Wasn’t pleased with that.

Spotted some birds, wonderful experience and the room is nice and spacious. Breakfast is okay, nothing amazing. Nice coffee machine.

The hotel is steps away from the main Plaza de Armas (Square). Tons of restaurants and stores nearby. The room was simple but comfortable, the staff made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel has a very steep set of steps to the second floor where is located. We enjoyed the included breakfast.

My first night was not pleasant due to noises from my neighbors until 2 am. Insulation in walls is really poor. You can hear everything like if they are in your room. Breakfast could be improved. It is so basic. Bathroom was too small.

The best room ever. I felt like a queen! Beautiful design, terasse, bathroom. Large room and beds. Extremely comfortable. I wish I had stayed there longer and just enjoyed the comfort, the view to main street. The great shower and shampoo. :) It is next to the plaza de armas. Absolutely central. Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in for an affordable price.

The Hosteles Riviera group were very kind & accommodating to put us in another property when I asked if we could possibly have a downstairs room because my 77 year old husband had fallen & hurt his hip.
