A fan could be nice

A very pleasant family run hotel, 15 min by feet to the center, pleasant surrounding, close to Chan Chan and other sites, very friendly and helpful staff, room is spacious and convenient, refrigerator and microwave provided (!), good breakfast, fast WiFi, top value for money

Internet wasn't great. Freezer doesn't freeze well, we bought some ice creams and in couple of hours in the "freezer" they changed into yoghurt ;)

We spent a week there and it was a real pleasure. Lovely big bright room. Huge and extremely comfortable bed. A little fridge and microwave in the room. Lots of storage spaces. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small but very good breakfast (2 small bread rolls and a friend egg, fresh juice, coffee) delivered to the room. Good location. Decent internet. Quiet at night. Big table to eat or work at. Full sized mirror.

Personally I’m not a fan of having the room cleaned every day. I think it’s a waste of time, money and unnecessarily damaging to the environment. But the main issue here was that our luggage was completely reorganized and repacked, put into several closets and my plastic bags were thrown away, please don’t do that.

Straightforward hotel room at a good location. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast in the morning.

The best service we've ever had! Never met such helpful and hospitable people like Carlos and his wife. Everything about our stay was perfect. The breakfast, the rooms, hot water, the communication - everything! And of course the loveliest watchdog ever!

The couple who run this hotel are very lovely people! Breakfast was very good, the room spacious and clean. The shower was very hot and had good pressure. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend it if in Trujillo!

The shower did have very little hot water.

- Good location on a quiet street, not too far from historic center and several shops and restaurants nearby. - Excellent service. Carlos, the owner, does his very best to make sure you have a good stay. We arrived early and we even got an extra breakfast on the day of arrival and we could directly go into our room as well. Was really happy with it.

No sign for the hostel outside. Not a hard to find with address.

Breakfast filling and very good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Safe area. 18 minutes walking distance to Plaza de Armas. Would return anytime

Only one remark. It would be nice to see a sign with the name of the hostal at the entrance. Now there is only the address = street + number. Our taxi did not know the hostel and we searched for the number in the street, finally found it.

We liked the microwave oven ( and the fridge) in the spacious room. Breakfast was served in the room, order was taken at the requested hour (from 8 AM on), and then brought to the room. Excellent breakfast too. Friendly service at reception ; Carlos, the host called on his app, several taxis for a very good price. Quiet street, three local resto's within 200 metres and two small shops for food/drinks. Within walking distance of historical centre.

Nothing it was all great.

Everything: The large and comfortable room, the simple but tasty breakfast and Coffe served in the rooms every morning, proximity to the city center (10min walk to plaza de armas). also very nice restaurants frequented mostly by locals, as well as a major bank with ATM round the corner and mini markets all around. The owner and the staff are awesome and very accommodating.

While the internet is sufficient for streaming, if you work as a digital nomad who needs to make video calls, the internet can be spotty at times. It's definitely better than a lot of places, but for more intensive internet use, it's a little iffy.

The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast has been great, too. The staff are friendly and helpful.
