The rooms and bathrooms are quite outdated, some renovations would really bring the place up. They charge extra per hour for early check in which was a surprise for us, there was no communication from the hotel prior to arrival to inform us of this or anything else, after a full night of travel and little sleep this wasn't the best way to start our stay.

Great location, steps away from the main road but tucked into an alley so it's very quiet inside, very close to many restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The swimming pool is nice to freshen up and the outdoors are beautiful, lots of plants, trees, and flowers (but plenty mosquitoes, use bug spray especially once the sun goes down)

We had a wonderful stay at Alona Swiss Resort because the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and several restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.The pool area was fantastic😍

First, I would not recommend the Alona area. Overrun with tourists, many child vendors and overall kind of sad and not beautiful like other parts of Panglao. As far as the hotel, I think they can improve on cleanliness and overall attention to detail. The kitchen also needs some attention, like more than 3 cups for a 2BR unit. We had laundry items lost, cleaning that was supposed to happen but never did and a whole thing with one of the AC units getting replaced and the workers left a huge mess that no one bothered to clean up. The staff was very apologetic but ultimately a lot of that shouldn’t have happened to begin with.

The staff was helpful, the pool was nice. The 2BR unit was roomy and worked well for our group. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Decent price overall.

The rooms are all round the pool which we used daily. Large air conditioned rooms with a balcony area. 10 min walk to the centre. Would stay here again

Location for us wasn’t the best although Alona Beach was lovely and only a 10 minute walk away. Rooms were a little dated and could have done with extra pillows for sleeping as quite flat. The pool was very nice although the steps needed a bit of attention / repair as felt sharp under foot along with a live cable for the lighting which was quite worrying.

Staff very welcoming and happy to help with everything. Any problems at all were sorted promptly. They helped us organise our trips and taxi back to airport.

Road in has a tendency to temporarily flood during heavy rain. Drainage and road needs improvement.

Technical faults with air conditioning, tv remote control not working even with new batteries, shower head was loose and no bday wash tap in the toilet - however the staff was very accommodating so after a day of inconvenience they moved us to another room and fitted a bday tap.

Close to all amenities like airport restaurants and beaches.
