We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI booked breakfast included, but they never had breakfast included. Food was decent, good portion sizes. I just didn’t like the extra hidden fees such as airport pick up etc that said was included. Expect lots of bugs, not the properties fault but you’re out in the forest area and they all fly in when you open the door. Main bathroom was very nasty.
Very nice staff , very cool location, secluded with gorgeous views. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy.

NetherlandsThe service desk staff struggled with English, often needing help to translate even basic things like transportation arrangements during check out. The location felt isolated, with not much to do apart from island tours. The breakfast buffet was average, nothing special. The beach was disappointing—very stony and grainy, not ideal for relaxing. Further down, we noticed a lot of garbage and broken glass in the sand, which was unfortunate. Another letdown was that no one assisted with luggage during check out, which would have been appreciated. Lastly, the restaurant was overpriced, especially considering the quality.
The hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable, One of the highlights was the helpful kitchen staff, who were accommodating with special dietary needs , a big plus for those with food restrictions.

Canadahave to make a list of stuff that we charge to our room every single day and do the computation as well someone a staff is adding items that we did not order i read the reviews about the resort before hand so i knew this is going on so i came prepared upon checked out there was about 5 items that i crossed out on the list they charged us with that we did not order. I suggest the resort should dismiss that person he is going to ruin the business. please clean the pool change the water treat the water and get rid of the green moldy stuff there no one was using it because it is disgusting
very peaceful and quiet the view is awesome snorkling , kayaking we enjoyed alot , great to be the last to be picked up and the first to be dropped off on a tour, the staff are nice

United StatesThe water pressure is an issue there, we had to call the staff because the shower head stopped entirely. The food is pricey and it’s not worth the money.. the food was a disappointment as in Coron you get way better quality for even cheaper.
The property is the best location ever, located on Uson island, you’re the only hotel there, the pool is really nice and it’s a beautiful view chilling on the bean bags/ chairs.

FranceThe food and the quality of service is not what you would expect from a resort at that price. The hotel has a huge potential but the services do not always match the hotel standing. Breakfast buffet was very poor. The food was not so fresh and not varied. It is a shame considering the hotel and the price.

United StatesWe’re really torn about our experience at Baia Serena Resort. There’s a lot to love here—the room was beautiful, the views were stunning, and the reef just offshore is amazing (even tour boats stop there). The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was fresh and delicious (and not overpriced), and they offer kayaks and arranged shared transport to the airport, which was super helpful. The pool looks gorgeous too. But unfortunately, a few major issues really impacted our stay. The pool, while nice to look at, was not clean—it had green algae, left a slimy feel on the skin, and we came out smelling weird. It clearly needs better maintenance. The biggest issue, though, was the ants. There were ants in the room throughout our stay, and on our final night, we were swarmed in the middle of the night—we had to strip the bed and try to salvage some sleep. We suspect it was due to a stain or leftover scent, but either way, it was a huge inconvenience and made it hard to relax. We also experienced the low water pressure others have mentioned, though it didn’t affect us much in the moment. We’d love to recommend this place because of all its positives, but unless the ant problem is resolved, we wouldn’t feel comfortable returning or suggesting it to others. It has so much potential—hopefully some maintenance improvements will help it live up to it.

United KingdomWe were very disappointed to find the pool was dirty as this had been mentioned in other reviews, and we assumed the management would have made note of the reviews and ensure the pool is kept clean! It took 2 days of asking for it to be clean enough to swim in, which is a shame as it is a beautiful deep pool with a great view of the sea and mountains. The food options were very limited for vegetarians and the staff didn't know much about the menu options or what ingredients are in the dishes (there was no description of the dishes on the menu so we had no idea what we would be ordering). They were not flexible with the menu, for example they were not prepared to make the nachos vegetarian by simply not adding the beef! When you are there for a few days (and have no other dining options) you really need some variety, The staff didn't clear up glasses or plates if food/drink was ordered outside of the restaurant - these were just left next to the sunbeds - not pleasant. The rooms were huge but had nowhere to hang clothes inside (no wardrobe, rails, hooks or hangers). There was also only one bedside cabinet and bedside lamp which was inconvenient for a double bedroom! It is in a lovely peaceful location but music was always played far too loud at the bar and restaurant.
Convenient location with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Great snorkelling (out near the floating hut and along the reef). Lovely pool - when clean

United StatesAlthough the place itself and it's location is great, the facilities lack basic resort amenities. First and foremost, they need to fix there water issues. There are plenty of times where the water that comes out of the toilet and sink was brown in color and had a bad smell. The bathrooms lack ventilation. The bathroom stinks almost all the time and there's nothing we could do about it. Since we are on an island, patrons do not have easy access to drinking water. Cleaning the room everyday is not a must but at least refill the guests water bottle everyday. Front desk folks can definitely use some training on how to properly greet guests and make guests feel more welcomed. Felt like i was intruding when asking questions regarding tours, ferry rides, facilities, etc.
The best thing about this place was the people that work here. Everybody was very kind and accommodating. The location of the place was outstanding.

FranceThe organisation and the communication is very bad. The airport pickup was hard to organise. During our stay, we booked a town tour and it didn’t happen, I think they forgot about it? The infrastructure is also disappointing, the swimming pool is very dirty, full of alga. The room looks good but also some issues: the mattress is not comfortable and the shower water is either too hot or too cold, there is no in between. Some bad smell also coming from the bathroom. The restaurant meals we tried were very average and we are not that difficult And a lot of dogs running everywhere is not really a standard in this kind of hotel I think.
On the paper, this hotel looks good, but only on the paper

United StatesThere were stray dogs everywhere that would howl in the middle of the night and roamed around the dining area. Our bathroom smelled like sewer and feces. Water pressure was fine everywhere else but shower head would not work after requesting to get serviced. There was no hot water. The sand was very rocky. Flies were flying around everywhere. Though there were a handful of options, there were not a lot of options for continental breakfast that catered to westerners. Wifi was not great. We had a family suite. One side had no access and no TV. The entrance/walkway to get in should have been cleared of plant obstruction and better lighting. Though there was a good selection of menu items for lunch or dinner, it was either out even though you’re the only one in the dining area or you had to wait an hour plus to get your food. Recommend you preorder before you head out for your day tour so that it’ll be ready when you get back. We usually had it ready at 6pm. You’re usually back from your excursion around 5pm ish. We like how most of the tours, you get picked up at the dock rather than heading into the town. The town is about 10 minutes by boat. You can easily go to the town to eat. Just make sure you have reliable internet access and install WhatsApp.
Included breakfast, staff was friendly, private island, had filtered water available to fill your own bottle. They offered tuna sandwich for breakfast as we headed out for the airport in the morning.

ArgentinaThe breakfast could have more western options.. it’s varied but simple things like toast, jam and butter and croissants would add something when you don’t want a full meal with rice and meat first thing in the morning.
Everything! The secluded location and quiet, the super comfortable and spacious room the quality materials, bed, linen, toiletries… fantastic! The service is something out of this world… so great! The premises were great, the pool, the cabanas. The resort is a stone’s throw from the best places in the ultimate tour so if you get the tour there they will pick you up last and drop you first… no waiting. There’s free kayaks to go to a nearby great reef. Water, electricity, air conditioning and wifi were solid. Restaurant food was pretty great for the most part and reasonably priced. Another line to stress how great the service is… you have the most amazing people working there.

United KingdomThe buffets that were offered overall didn't live up to the room service meals. In general, there wasn't a lot of variety and certain things felt out of place. On one occasion, we were offered spicy pasta for breakfast which we were not a fan of. Also, our room didn't seem to have Wi-Fi so we had to use Wi-Fi from other rooms.
We really enjoyed the room service food and the fact that we could just snorkel or kayak out to the reef whenever we wanted. What we were also pleased with was that we didn't have to wait for the boat in town for the Super Ultimate Tour but could sleep for another hour. We would also like to give a special mention to Jasmine, who was front-of-house for our whole stay, She was always approachable and always able to answer whatever question we had. Our accommodation was the Family Suite. We would like to recommend it because it has 2 separate rooms with double beds and it is separated from all other rooms. It is also complete with a balcony, outdoor dining area and massive Smart TV.

United StatesOnly had one sheet of menu for both lunch and menu, limited choice of seafood and vegetable chopsue was a bit salty for me. Free boat ride end at 5pm, unable to go out to town at night.
Restaurant food was good but some are a bit salty for me. Breakfast buffet is very tasty with both Phillipino and American food to choose from, also they rotate some breakfast items everyday which is a plus. Facilities is very beautiful, clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I like to hang around the swing and gazebo at the beach especially during sunset. There is always staff on the kayaking area to assist you if you need kayaking and snorkeling. There is a huge lagoon viewing area just outside from resort. The water is very shallow and crystal clear. We enjoy snorkeling at lagoon and watching fishes at those area. We found 2 spot that had couples Nemo fish playing around the lagoon which is very cute and beautiful. The resort also provide free speed boat ride to Colon town from 8am to 5pm. You are free to go out hang out at Colon town and enjoy some good lunch.

It is a very peaceful place to relax in Coron. The views surrounding the island are exceptional and unique. There’s a huge pool in front of the sea facing the Coron Island, cabanas on the shore, a billiard room, gym, music room.
