It was ok. Need more thing to choose from. Need brewed coffee.. to long getting food . Food got cold waiting my all the food brought out. People like the eat to gather.

The restaurant was out of many things. Though we wanted to stay on the quieter side, it was a bit far from the more beautiful beach for that time of year.

This was a lovely room on the beach and the staff was extremely sweet.

Loud airco

The beach houses are decorated in a tasteful way. The room is comfortable and the terrace is spacious. Staff is friendly. Definitely a place to recommend.

The beach is not suitable for swimming. The hut with. A/C does not have kitchen.

We really like to have kitchen and fridge where we can cook and store our food. The home made bread was yummy. Thank you Nini. We were at the nearest to the beach, we can hear the waves. The internet connexion was excellent all the time. The team was professional and helpful. Thank you Nini and Gina. The garden is amazing and relaxing. The atmosphere is peaceful. You can see and talk with fishermen. Beautiful spot for sunset and see the dogs running on the beach.

The hotel is a bit out of the way. It's not close to Siquijor port and there isn't anything nearby. Wifi also wasn't too good and it's likely because you're surrounded by trees

The staff is friendly and helpful, my room was clean and I had the basic necessities. They serve food and I had breakfast and dinner there and they were able to make some vegan stuff for me. The vegan vegetable curry was super delicious! The beach is right in front of the hotel and the area is very quiet

I'm really sorry for saying this but this is the worst accomodation I ever booked. We were very disappointed with our accomodation at Casa de la Playa Beach Resort. The pictures on booking.com are very misleading!! We received a cottage type of accomodation which looked tremendously worse than in the showcased pictures. Everthing was worn out, needs renovation, there was a hole on the ceiling, the mosquite nets had holes in it. We just really expected more for this amount of money and based on what we saw in the pictures. We got much better accomodation in the island for the same amount of money. When we arrived, the staff showed us the cottage and the light bulb in the main room wasn't working. I asked if they could change it. The staff simply told me that no it's not possible and left. So we were left without light there. As their English wasn't very well I was hoping I misunderstood and it will be changed next day as it was dark but it was never changed during our stay. Also, there were ants everywhere and even a big cockroach was in our room, although we didn't eat anything in the cottage. We actually wanted to let this all go but then the worst thing happened. On the 4th day, when we came back to Casa de la Playa, I was bitten by a dog on the narrow, short dirt road which is is only way to get to the accomodation. We just came back as on the other days but the dogs acted very aggressive and one of them bit my foot. Then I told the staff what happened. They helped to clean my foot but other than that I had to ask myself or my husband because they didn't feel they are responsible. So they told me to go to the hospital, I asked for their assistance but they told me they can't come as they are only 2 of them working tomorrow and then upon request called me a driver. The owner of the accomodation conveniently wasn't available at all time, and nobody even asked me since how am I doing.

They helped us to rent a scooter and the guy who was responsible for the scooter was very nice and helpful.

The food options were limited and pricey for its serving size. The quality of food also dropped since my last visit in 2018.

The peacefulness, the amazing sunset, and the starfilled night sky. The rooms were comfortable and has good wifi.

Restaurant directly at the resort was not available. Bungalows a little bit shabby/run-down, ants all over the floor. If u know what to expect, that's fine, but compared to other accommodation for that price, we were not so happy. (have to admit, we were there during heavy storm and rain... Was just not so cosy) Air con extremely loud and not efficient.. Better to book a bungalow with fan!

Cute bungalow with personally decorated style. Directly at the beach, you hear the waves during the night. Good restaurant in walking distance ("Ayan's local food") We were the only people on that beach.

The resort needs maintenance and the facilities need modernising. The bed covers were too light and the aircon very old and noisy. The restaurant prices are too expensive though the food is good.

Nining was amazing. She is chef receptionist and gardener runs the place single handed with a big smile. The food was delicious (prepared by Nining). The beach is nice with a great view and right on your doorstep.

I loved the attention for detail, the Greek/Spanish/Japanese architecture and decoration, this is a hotel with a big heart and you can feel the positive vibe all around the place: in the restaurant, in the incredibly cosy beach front rooms with an absolutely stunning view of the beach scape, especially at low tide, and in the pathways. And the people are lovely, Terry the owner is all around, and the staff are adorable and helpful. This is a place for single travellers, for couples, for families, every type of traveller will benefit from the unique peaceful and reflective vibe created by the hotel itself and its perfect surroundings. Bed bug bites after the first ight. The staff promptly changed the mattress when I asked. Kitchen was poorly eqipped. The room is antiquated and has several maintenance issues: toilet doesn't flush right, screen for mosquitoes are broke. Room was supposed to have a sofa bed in addition to a double bed but was not present. This is a non AC room and a ceiling fan over the terrace ceiling would be heaven.

Nice location on the beachfront. Quiet area with the ocean lapping at your feet. Very friendly staff. Good refrigerator and wifi worked ok most of the time. We bought fresh fish from locals when the boats came in.
