Although it was challenging to get to the resort, the owners and staff made an extra effort so that we could travel around the island in comfort.

We had such an amazing stay at Chellie Rose Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – always friendly and ready to help. The owners were incredibly accommodating, which made our stay feel even more personal and special. The facilities are excellent, and the whole place has such a romantic ambiance – perfect for couples. Our room was just awesome! It was very spacious, with a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the view. The bathroom was huge and even had a jacuzzi, which made the stay extra luxurious. If you’re visiting Bantayan Island, I highly recommend staying here. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations – we can’t wait to come back! 💕

Chellie Rose was fantastic. You need to get a short 5 minute boat ride to the resort, which consists of a complex of four rooms only. Breakfast is a pre-order, but the food is very yummy. If you consider doing island hopping, make sure you communicate thoroughly. What we were told was 2 islands, and the boat will wait .That never happened. They only dropped us at Virgin Island and left. $2500 peso for the boat. .!!? $600 peso snorkling hire. And $350 per person island entry fee not included. A bit better communication and this place is the place to be. PS. Pool is shared with locals as a entry fee.

The property was very well maintained, the surroundings are kept clean and the staff ensures that all the guests are safe within the perimeter of the resort. The staff is also very courteous, attentive and very friendly - they go out of their way to provide the best service. The owner even went to say hi to us and checked in on how we’re doing.

The pool area can get crowded from people who are doing the island hopping but from 5pm to around 9am, we had the whole place to ourselves! 🥰

Everything was excellent. The owners are super friendly and even arranged a short notice snorkelling trip on their speedboat. Cannot fault the place. Room and bathroom are out of this world.

I wish they have more breakfast options for those who are staying for 3 nights or more. I wish there was a better way to access the resort other than by boat as the first means. Some kg the guests like me prefer their foot not to get wet because of the sand also. May I suggest to please put fresh water at the lagoon access area so your guests can wash off their feet before heading to the port. I am hoping their bathrooms have actual doors and not just sliding doors. Please also consider guests who are not a couple. It’s very awkward to use the toilet knowing your poop could be smelled easily. I always ask my friend to leave the room if I need to poop so I can concentrate.

We super liked the property. The room is huge with modern design. This is located in the lagoon which is also one of the tourist spot in Bantayan Island. They are very near the city. Otherwise, they offer delicious food. The staff are all friendly and very accommodating to our requests. They have a good wifi. We were lucky we stayed during off season and we have the property all to ourselves.

Bad breakfast - that was a big minus. There is only rice, eggs and a lot of meat to choose from. I was very disappointed by the breakfast. The areal is full of people during the day as they are doing island hopping - another big minus - so it’s hard to find privacy. The pool was always full with children. Next to our apartment there was a construction going on. Sometimes the service was really slow (when you want to rent a scooter or order food, but that’s the way it is, they try really hard)

It’s located between a private beach and a lagoon which is very beautiful. The areal is clean, the rooms very comfortable, there are hammocks and we even had a jacuzzi kind of bathtub in the bathroom. I liked that you could have served the breakfast to your room and the view from the apartment is also quite something! There are scooters for rental available (400 Pesos per day), which is important for island exploring!

Few glitches with breakfast service but nothing that ruined our stay and the owner apologised personally to us which was very kind of them.

The Location, right next to the lagoon. Very private and quiet. It’s truly a hidden gem. The lagoon, the bar/restaurant and swimming pool is open to public at certain times (I think 8-5) but before and after those times, it’s private for guests. Boat shuttle was really good and exclusive to guests as well. The rooms are all facing the beach, so we woke up everyday with the unobstructed view of the beach. Furnitures are all spotless and to a high standard. Air con was really cold and quiet, ceiling fan was a bonus, hot and cold water everytime we need it with no interruptions. Beds were super comfy, sheets, towels were always fresh and clean. The jet bath tub was a bonus, it can fit two adults easily. Parking was available and within easy reach. The surrounding was always cleaned and well maintained. The owner even helped in cleaning the pool. It’s a very good place to unwind, relax and recharge. Thank you also for setting up the massage right in front of our balcony under the moonlight. That was really special. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

We had a great stay in Chellie’s place. The accommodation is right by the Baigad Lagoon, making the beach and lagoon always accessible. Chellie and his husband, Julio, were very friendly and accommodating. They trained their staff very well. Such a great service. The room was clean, well-lit, cold, and has a big bathroom. I didn't realize that the hotel was only 4 rooms. They're currently under construction to build a lobby and extra rooms. We woke up everyday to the sound of banging on metal and drilling. The location is very isolated so you can't just walk out to walk around. You have to take a ferry during high tide and during low tide, either take the ferry or walk half a mile. There's only 3 restaurants available next to the hotel. The pool was nice but the beach wasn't as clean as the pictures.

The rooms were clean and the staff were pleasant.
