The house is surrounded by cockerels. While I was used to hearing them in the Philippines I didn't have any good night sleep here because there were so many of them crowing throughout the night every night. The wifi wasn't great. The water doesn't drain out of the shower.

The breakfast was really good. The girls were really helpful and friendly. It was great to have our laundry done for a reasonable price. We like being a little bit away from the tourist area but it wasn't that far of a walk to go there. The room was really spacious and clean. The air con was great.

Only minor nitpicks - the shower didn’t drain properly because part of the tiles are tilted the wrong way, leading water away from the sink instead towards it. Shower curtain fell down on first use because it is only held between walls by a weak spring.

Very clean, plenty of hangers in the spacious room. Cold and relatively quiet A/C. Outdoor seating was nice and comfortable. Location is not far away from the main road, but still feels like “in the middle of nowhere”, which may or may not be a good thing :)

Spent a long time in Asia, so got used to having 'guests' in the room. We had a small lizard running around the walls at night, hiding above the AC unit or behind the kettle. We thought this was ok, because we also had some small bugs in different places, and we liked to think the lizard was cleaning up for us. However, if you're not used to this kind of company, keep in mind that in this part of the world (especially the quiet grassy areas like where this accommodation is situated) you may be sharing the room from time to time... Despite being away from the main street, it is actually incredibly noisy with nearby dogs and chickens. This isn't really any fault of the accommodation, but we chose this spot deliberately because it was away from the bars and restaurants, and wanted to relax and recharge. However, night time and early morning were super loud, so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep through the night or past sunrise!!

A good area away from the bars and restaurants. The aircon (if you have it - double check your booking or upgrade on arrival if available) was great and made a huge difference, after getting back following a long walk from the beach. The walk between town and accommodation is nice in the day, but unlit at night, so be careful with the uneven path and use a torch. The breakfast was good, hosts were friendly, and resident dog was adorable.

We regretted not choosing the room with AC because at night the room was very hot and the fan is quite nosy, but that’s on us. The only other negative thing is that the hotel is not on the main road and the access is not in very good conditions. It’s a 10/15 minute walk to the main part of restaurants and it’s actually nice because you go through the countryside, but specially at night this is something to have into consideration.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The room looks new and all is very clean. The breakfast has a few good options. They can facilitate a lot of tours and motorbike renting for 400 php per day. And they have an amazing puppy, Lana, that is always ready for a cuddle!

If you ask guests to put used toilet paper in the trash bin, empty it daily. No one even bothered to take out the trash for four days. I had to take out the trash and ask for new bags myself every day. Construction had just begun on another cottage across from the rooms. It's a shame this wasn't announced on the booking page. One night's stay is fine, but four days of listening to a jackhammer in the morning is not pleasant. The internet was weak and unreliable, usually 10-20 Mbps. There are no mosquito nets on the windows. In the bathroom, the floor is ceramic and the wall are tiled, which makes the shower slippery.

Quite pleasant architecture, nicely decorated rooms, atmospheric outdoor seating areas outside the room. Kettle in the room. Sockets by the bed. Free water refills. This is good because the room is far from any shops on the main street. Friendly family.

The room was very large and bright with opening windows and a good fan which wasn't too loud. Plenty of shelf space, and a table inside and seating outside with a drying rack. The bathroom was very nice with good water pressure and a shower curtain so the sink and toilet areas don't get wet when you shower. The garden is beautiful with a really nice shady area with seats and tables for breakfast. We opted to have breakfast and I'm really glad we did, it was excellent and really good value. The place is kept very clean, and the owner and staff are very friendly, and luna the dog is super friendly. It's very quiet at night, didn't notice any barking dogs and could only just hear the roosters, unlike a lot of other places we've been.

We stayed in a room without air conditioning but with a fan. The room was clean and comfortable and not too hot. Indoor facilities include: water heater (water pressure is very good, temperature is also very good), shampoo, shower gel, fan, table and chairs, four-compartment cabinet, hair dryer, hot water kettle, and tea set. There is a personal clothes drying rack and a personal drying rack outside the door. Tables and chairs are available. There is drinking water available in the public space on the first floor. The owners Shuana and her family are very friendly, and they also have a lovely dog ​​- Lana. The neighbors nearby are also very friendly and have many cute dogs. The accommodation is within a 10-minute walk from the main street. We found the facility description very misleading. It indicates air conditioning. However not all rooms have airconditioning. There is only a fan in the room. The room was not really clean. We encountered a few cockroaches in our room, some hairs from previous guests and there was a not so pleasant sell from the humidity in the room. Also be aware, a lot of cocks shouting in the morning and during the night dogs are barking in concert. To finish not very friendly staff.
