There is no elevator, we had to walk up 3 levels every time. The shower is not really warm. The WiFi and service is awful. Super slow. A lot of noise from the rooftop bar on our bedroom (until 11.30pm).

The room we were in was very busy (we were on the first floor, closest to the bar so probably less noisy on higher levels). But would be quite challenging to sleep while it’s open but it closes at 11pm so not late!

Really great hostel, events every night and the staff are great at getting everyone involved. Right in the centre of el Nido town. Restaurant and bar downstairs, with great food and drinks - super busy and social in the evening.

While we understand that the hostel can be noisy at night due to the parties lasting until 11 or 11:30 PM, the noise from people chatting outside afterward can be quite disruptive. I wish the room had better sound insulation. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more hooks in the room for hanging clothes and towels. The Wi-Fi is also quite weak, and even using our LTE connection is unreliable, possibly because there are many people in the area.

My friends and I enjoyed our four-night stay at Frendz Hostel! The room was spacious enough for four people, and the bed was both comfortable and large. The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly strong. When we requested room cleaning, they did a great job tidying up. Additionally, the food in their restaurant was surprisingly good as well! Overall, our stay was excellent. Thanks to the team at Frendz Hostel!

It does not have a refrigerator and the cp signal is very weak.

What I liked about Frendz hostel is the ambiance. They also have activities every night and it would depend what day of the week. It happens at the rooftop where there is also a pool and a very nice view of the sea from afar. You would really meet friends from different parts of the world. There is also a party at the resto/lobby area every night and ends every 11pm. Also as observed, a lot of foreigners stay in the hostel.

The WiFi was not good. It rarely worked in the rooms. I think maybe because it is all thick concrete rooms. I think it’s an expensive hostel we definitely stayed in much cheaper places in the Philippines so not great if you are on a budget. It’s a party hostel also which is great if you want to meet people so it is loud until 11pm but to be fair they turn off the music after that. Not the hostels fault, but a very drunk girl came back to the dorm at 11pm & was vomiting & walking around. We informed the staff who arranged for 4 of us in the room to move which was good but ya it is a party hostel so if you don’t want to deal with that maybe stay elsewhere.

Really nice rooftop pool. Great vibe in the hostel, lots going on here every night. Perfect for solo travellers. Good location too. Staff were helpful also. Nice breakfast in the cafe downstairs. Pool table was fun!

This was the first hostel I stayed in during my 3 week trip in the Philippines. Absolutely perfect for getting to know people for the rest of your travels. I highly recommend doing the Haqqy Island Hopping on your first day so you meet a tonne of fun people. Also throw yourself into the socials. We had a room of 6 in a shared dorm and had our own private toilet/ shower. I know the 8 people rooms (and larger) had to use shared toilets / showers with other rooms. Heard good things about the private rooms too. It is a loud hostel until 10PM so I found it a perfect mix for what I wanted. Great location super close to everything you could need. Staff were super accommodating - highly recommend!
