There is no restaurant or bar at the property but this isn’t a problem as the town is only a short walk away with lots of restaurants and there is the option of ordering for delivery from a local Italian. Would recommend this for a stay in Port Barton.

This is a really special property, with a very homely feel. Regine and her team were incredibly welcoming and willing to help. The bedrooms are very comfortable, particularly the beds.

More than the comfortable rooms and well-kept facilities, it was Ate Regine and the entire staff of La Palapa Inn who truly made our stay relaxing and remarkable. We visited Port Barton during the rainy season, which meant rough roads and tough trails. We weren’t even able to complete both our inland and island tours because of the unpredictable weather. Despite that, we genuinely enjoyed our time at La Palapa. The staff went out of their way to keep us well-informed about navigating Port Barton, from recommending food spots to helping us book tuktuks. They were always prepared—since it rained constantly, they even provided umbrellas for guests to borrow. What stood out the most was how warm, approachable, and genuinely congenial the staff were; every interaction felt sincere and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. All in all, our stay was both nice and unforgettable. We’ll definitely return to La Palapa Inn and recommend it to friends and family. Can't wait to go back there!

Beautiful property that you can tell a lot of love has gone into. Loved the pool area and the huge amount of chilling space in the grounds. Everything was kept very clean. Rooms are good, with big balconies. The loveliest staff we have come across on our Philippines trip, thank you Ronamee (sorry for spelling), you were amazing!

I thought it was overpriced for what it is.

Staff were nice, hotel was quiet so I slept well, it was away from the beach but still close to everything as port baron is relatively small.

We loved our stay at La Palapa Inn. It was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they helped sort our transport, gave us umbrellas for when it rained and answered all of our questions. The rooms were beautiful, immaculately clean and mineral water was always available. It was aesthetically a very beautiful hotel and very in keeping with its surroundings. We would recommend to anyone going to Port Barton.

We loved everything!!!

I don't have enough words to describe the kind of kindness of the girls in this accommodation. They were just perfect in everything, always available for any requests, and always focused on the customers needed. The room was so big, clean and bright. The air conditioning was working well, and there was also a fan in the room. The view from the balcony was also beautiful. Free water is available to fill your bottles. The best accommodation in 15 days travels around the Philippines. Absolutely recommend. 💯

Ground floor rooms can be a bit less private

The accommodation was slightly set back from the hustle and bustle which was nice. The staff are so friendly and really make the stay! Room comfortable and had everything we needed.
