It’s a little bit far from el Nido so I recommend to stay at least 2 nights. I spent just 1 and wasn’t enough.

Everything was good. The location, the service. And very good staff specially Izzy who made my staying better. Also the guys of the hopping Island boat!!! Thanks Izzy and Leo!!! Definitely I need to come back soon!

I really missed to have AC in the room as it is quite hot mostly during the day. You have a small, noisy fan above each bed but that is not enough during the day. Be aware that you need to walk about 10 minutes from the parking entrance to the hostel; that should be clarified in the description. It does not has to do with the hostel, but transport from and to El Nido town is limited unless you rent a bike. I booked 3 nights and end up going back to El Nido after second night. The place is nice but after two days you might get bored (if traveling solo).

Amazing beach just in front of the hostel. Good music all day so do not expect quietness. The hostel has a nice bar restaurant with decent food and drinks, anything fancy but it’s okay. The toilets, room and bed were big and comfy, they have a good number of toilets so you don’t need to wait. You have a big locker in the room to lock your stuff. A great place to party and share with other travelers at the bar.

The showers are not great and there is no hot water, rather lukewarm. You have to walk on the beach in the sand in order to get to the street/parking lot. It’s not that bad, but I think people should know this. However the staff were very nice and helped me carrying my bag.

The location is beautiful, isolated, directly on the beach, beds are big and comfortable, there is no AC, just a fan above the bed, staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a party every night until 12 am.

It is very hot in the rooms even at night with the fans on (super Loud) so it is very hard to cool down and the bathrooms felt dirty.

I had the loft which is only a bed under a roof no door so it was hard to sleep because there id a chicken farm next to it. A bit strange for the room itself but fun so i adapted.

Very cool vines, nice staff very friendly and giving super cool advice. You had nice cheap drinks free shots amazing coffee and good food. There were nightly activities and a lot if fun

The hostel is too pricey for my opinion and the ongoing construction woke me up early in the morning. The fans in the room are very loud. Hopefully we will see some more hostels on Nacpan beach in the future. I headed north to the calm and relaxed Bucana beach instead as I was looking for relaxation.

If you like free drinks, shots and loud music from 19-00.00 then this is the place for you. If you come for peace and quiet it is not. Staff were friendly and food ok. One night was enough for me.

Every single member of staff were brilliant! Maria especially brings an absolute vibe to the place! The hostel is located an hour from the town and it’s a little slice of heaven! I honestly cannot recommend it enough and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Even though we stayed in a private room, ac was something that we really missed, even if that meant paying more for our stay. For a more extensive stay, we would have appreciated a bit more of the menu variety. But our biggest struggle was satellite connection and wifi, as we're far from our family it was really a hard time finding a spot where we could make a quick call to our loved ones.

The location is incredible, beachfront! Tours provided are extremely convenient and affordable. Staff always make sure that you're comfortable during tour hopping and will help you with any questions you have. During the stay, we'd like to specifically thank our Host Maria, as she made sure we'd enjoy our vacation.

The lack of air-conditioning can cause the rooms to get a little stuffy, and the distance from town can be a little tricky to manage. But these are minor inconveniences that definitely won't detract from your overall experience.

If you're looking for a place to socialise and party or enjoy some drinks on a stunning beach at sunset, then this is the place for you. The atmosphere is great and the hosts will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best time possible. Shout out to the hosts Maria, Dash, MJ and Bryan!

Mad monkey does not have their own pathway. So you’ll need to walk for 10-15mins (depending how heavy your luggage) to get to the hostel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mad Monkey Hostel in Nacpan El Nido, and I must say, the hostel provided a fantastic experience overall. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the vibrant and exciting nightlife that the hostel had to offer. From lively events and themed parties to engaging social activities, there was never a dull moment at Mad Monkey. The hostel itself boasts a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and fellow travelers, making it easy to meet new people and forge connections. The communal areas were comfortable and well-designed, providing ample space for relaxation and socializing. The on-site bar served delicious drinks at reasonable prices, adding to the lively ambiance of the place. While the night activities were undoubtedly enjoyable, it's worth mentioning that getting to the hostel from the tricycle terminal can be a bit challenging. The lack of pavement and the necessity to walk along the beachfront might pose an inconvenience, especially if you have heavy luggage or are not fond of walking long distances. It would be beneficial for the hostel management to consider improving the pathway to ensure a more comfortable arrival for guests. Once you arrive at the hostel, though, the lively atmosphere and friendly staff make up for any inconvenience during the journey. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a decent place to rest after a night of revelry. Additionally, the hostel organized various day tours and activities, allowing guests to explore the beautiful surroundings and make the most of their stay. Overall, Mad Monkey Hostel in Nacpan El Nido is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an exciting nightlife experience. While the walk from the tricycle terminal to the hostel may be a bit challenging, the energetic atmosphere, friendly staff, and the unforgettable social experiences make it well worth the visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a beachfront trek to reach this lively hotspot in paradise.

I was a bit confused that on the map it is shown that there are 2 Mad Monkeys on the beach, one the right location and one much more far away, but in fact it is only one. Well, it is a party hostal with loud music, so... When the bar is connected to the lounge/relax area it makes you feel uncomfortable when you just wanna sit but feel like you need to consume something. Wifi was good, however it didn't work in the patio area between the end of the bar area and the beach.

Very friendly and helpful staff, makes sure you are well integrated even you travel alone. They helped me to change my shuttle time back to El Nido. Big bed, curtains at the beds, thanks to electric fan the temperature was good, but also my bed was directly in front of it. Maybe the beds on zop are hotter. Big lockers. Free water. Good bar with events. Beautiful location with lots of chairs and beach chairs.

bad internet signal and the fan location wasn’t ok so it was hot and so many bugs on the beach need to call pest control soon, and there was no ice.

We wanted to experienced the backpacker life and Mad Monkey was sure good for it. The staff was really friendly especially Dashie that helped us and guide us there. She was amazing. We will miss you Mad Monkey.
