Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandBreakfast, Internet, and Room Comfort While the stay is enjoyable, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better. The complimentary breakfast, though convenient, is quite basic and could benefit from more variety and a buffet-style setup to cater to different tastes. The WiFi, while available throughout the property, can be inconsistent and slow at times, which may be inconvenient for those needing reliable internet access for work or streaming. Some guests have noted that the water pressure in the showers is not always strong, which can affect comfort during busy periods. Additionally, the air conditioning in some rooms is not as powerful as expected, especially during hotter days, so it’s worth checking this upon arrival to ensure a comfortable temperature. Overall, Rustic Crown Hotel is a solid 3- to 4-star option with friendly service, good amenities, and a strategic location for island-hopping adventures. With a few tweaks to breakfast, internet, water pressure, and air conditioning, it could easily become a top choice in Alaminos.
Nice Place and Friendly Staff Rustic Crown Hotel in Alaminos is a pleasant choice for travelers exploring the Hundred Islands area. The hotel is conveniently located just a short tricycle ride—about 10 minutes—from Lucap Wharf, the main jump-off point for the Hundred Islands National Park tours, making it easy to access the region’s top attraction. The property boasts clean, spacious rooms that are well-maintained, and the beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest. The amenities are a highlight: guests enjoy two swimming pools, a sun terrace, free private parking, and a spa for relaxation. There are two on-site restaurants, and the hotel offers room service, family rooms, and non-smoking options. The staff consistently receive praise for being friendly, accommodating, and attentive—many guests mention how helpful and welcoming everyone is, from reception to security. The location is quiet yet accessible, just off the main road, and ideal for families or groups looking for a peaceful stay with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The overall value for money is good, with average nightly rates ranging from ₱2,500 to ₱3,300, which is reasonable for the amenities and location.

Canada1)The breakfast is not really good, we do not have much choices. 2) The bathroom is always wet, as the coverings in the shower is not enough. 3) There is no view in the room that we stayed, it would be nicer if there is.

AustraliaBland food - not what we were expecting, considering the price of their menu. UNSAFE SEATS - my family and I went to dine here a few days ago, and my wife accidentally jammed one of her fingers in the wooden chairs while she was moving it to sit. Most of the nails/ screws on their wooden chairs are loose and you could lift up the wooden part that you sit on, and see some of the nails sticking out. My wife's finger was bleeding a lot, and a part of her skin was cut off. The staff assisted her with applying antiseptic and bandage on the wound, and they tried to fix the damaged chairs when we left. HOWEVER, this whole incident could've been prevented if they were following proper safety & hazard rules. OVERALL, It was an unpleasant experience for my wife and family. WOULDNT recommend dining here.

SingaporePerhaps should supply bath gel and shampoo . The shower head is placed too high up , my wife couldn’t even reach it to bring it down . Breaksfast timing is also a little short between 7-9am . It will be nice to extend it to 10am . But they are flexible and willing to accommodate if you request
It is centrally located . Staff are helpful and friendly. Cafe staffs extended the hour for our use for small group worship and devotion . Really appreciate .

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool is clean and warm. It is nice to swim. They have a vending machine with snacks and drinks on it. When there was black out due to heavy rain, they have generator to make up for the electricity.

AustraliaPreviously I’ve stayed upstairs in a bigger room. I one I had this time was a bit small.
The breakfast was OK, the restaurant where you have breakfast makes much better meals than the breakfast choices. The staff are very good, the people who do the massages at an on site facility are very good too. Rustic have an electric mini bus ( big golf cart ) that can carry 6 people. If you call them they will pick you up from the bus terminal in Alaminos. That’s a lot better than trying to fit luggage into a tri wheeled tok tok. They also will run you down to the water front, about 3 k’s away.
