This place is probably one of the best I have ever experienced in the Philippines. The views, the place and the rooms were great, but the best of it was how welcoming the team was. We felt like we were visiting a family member. From the very beginning they picked us up from the airport, they helped us and explained everything in a very personal way. We had an array of transportation possibilities facilitated by the team. The rooms and the facilities were all properly clean and they were well equipped to cover for all needs. The breakfast was simply the best we have had so far around the country. It was big, it was tasty and nicely presented. Overall it was an amazing experience and we are so thankful for the treatment we received.

Brown outs when happened were annoying as the room does get hot without aircon but we just went to the cold springs/waterfalls to cool down.

Excellent breakfast spread. The room is very beautiful. We loved the lounge bed. The aircon worked well and was sufficient to keep the unit cool. We enjoyed playing badminton/ball in the courtyard and going for a dip in the pool after. Friendly workers and host. We rented a car and found the location close (within 10 minutes drive) to the main town and other interesting attractions. Note the resort also provides free drop off and pick up to restaurants within the town area and airport.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent and very convenient. The facilities are high-end, comfortable, and luxurious – everything was thoughtfully provided. We had everything we needed and even more. The staff were incredibly kind, always available, and helped us with every little request. Breakfast was also delicious and exceeded our expectations. A dreamy place we would definitely return to!

The accommodation is so nice and clean. The staff are all accommodating most especially Sir Jerome(owner). He will give you all the tips on how to travel Camiguin. From the places to visit to the recommended restaurants. And also, even the owner himself will drive you to the restaurants for dinner or lunch for free since they only offer breakfast. Moreover, the breakfast is extravagant!! They have 4 villas to accommodate guests and each one of them is really cozy and clean so even if you don’t go out, you can have a very good rest. Our stay was amazing. Boutique villas that you can tell a lot of thought went into, tons of detail and a very cool vibe. Rooms had high ceilings, were cleaned each day with available water and coffee. The breakfast each morning was great brought right to your outside bed. The whole property is gorgeous, warm lights hanging from palm trees with friendly dogs and cats roaming around. Dark sand beach right in front of the villas that have a great sunset view as well. Jerome the owner was awesome, you can really tell he cares about his guests. So much value, you can’t go wrong staying here.

It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our villa was cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It provided the ideal setting for relaxation and comfortable slee after a day of outdoor water activities The staff were exceptionally accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. You could not see any indications from the main Road, which made it difficult to know How to go by car.

The settlement, the quietness, very clean and comfy. The service was amazing, the kindness of Jerome from letting you grab his transport to the indications as a born and raised guide in the island.

Everything was perfect!

I loved staying at Somewhere Else Boutique resort! First of all the owner, Jerome is one of the sweetest and interesting person I have ever met! First of all the communication between the resort, and I was always swift and I really appreciated that. We arrived early in the morning to the island, and was able to check in at 11 AM because the room happened to be available and ready which I really appreciate it after a long morning of traveling! Then we were given breakfast on the beach side, which was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed that every morning of our stay! We were picked up on time at the airport also by the driver who is super kind and helpful. Jerome was able to also arrange for our two separate day excursions around the island with a private driver who stayed with us during the entire tour stops. There are four villas on the property and we stayed in the single one with my daughter and the room is just gorgeous! It had a comfortable king bed, a refrigerator, water dispenser-so we never had to worry about going thirsty the room also had all the comforts like snacks , water, wine, beer - you name it! (Extra charge) but coffee, tea wine and milk were included! The Villa also had an umbrella and we were provided a local mobile phone that already had the owner Jerome’s phone number and the drivers phone number in it in case we didn’t have local service which we didn’t so this was really helpful and put us at ease knowing we have a phone that we could call the property if needed. They also had mosquito repellents for the home, such as spray & burning coils. We especially loved the beautiful front porch/lounge area that had the giant bed with powerful ceiling fan so we just spent so much time relaxing overlooking the views facing the ocean. The property is oceanfront, however from our room, you could not see the ocean, but we had a nice view of the pool.

There is nothing I didn’t like. Our stay was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Jerome, together with the rest of his staff, provided very personal service. Aside from the impeccable service, the resort itself was perfect! We loved the spacious villas with comfortable beds and many pillows! Our villa also had our own terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast (alternatively, you can have breakfast served at the garden area facing the beach). Inside the villa, there is a fridge with a varied selection of wines, which was a great touch. Another thoughtful touch was that there were biscuits and chips you can consume in case you get hungry in the middle of the night (you have to pay for the wine and biscuits you consume upon check-out of course, but at least you won’t worry about not being able to satisfy your midnight pangs). The location was excellent since it was very close to the airport and also very close to the pier that will take you to White Island. The dogs here are very friendly and well-trained — even when the dogs see breakfast is being served at the terrace, they don’t come close to the table while you’re eating. So even for people who are not too fond of dogs, TRUST ME, you will still enjoy your time here. For dog-lovers though, this is heaven! Overall, we had the most wonderful time here and I HIGHLY recommend this place because here at SomeWhere Else, you will feel like a valued guest.

The room that we booked for 5 nights was too big for 2 people. There are many stairs inside our unit and can be dangerous, especially at night.

Location. The property provides free rides to restaurants every night. They provide free pick-up and drop off to the airport. We had a delicious breakfast, and it is included.

well, the black sand on the beach instead of a white sand beach? no, to be honest, there is nothing what I don't like and when I read all the reviews before booking, I could not find any negative review - because there is nothing to complain about it!

Where to start? I liked everything... This resort is absolutely amazing and Jerome the host is really caring about his guests (every evening he drove us to a restaurant for dinner and picked us up again). The resort is quiet and relaxed, huge space in the villas, very comfortable and beautiful designed, beds are comfortable, bathroom with rainshower, refrigerator in the room, fast wifi (Starlink!), laptop safe. Breakfast is served in the lounge area of your villa or if you prefer, in the shadow under the palm trees on the beach. Jerome will give you a small cellphone during check in with his number in the contact list, so whenever you need something, just give him a call. If you like to explore the island, Andrew is a great guide and driver to show you around, Really recommend snorkeling at the sunken cemetery, a boat trip to white island and of course scuba diving or snorkeling at Mantigue island. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed - thank you!

This has been one of the best places we had during our 3 weeks holiday in multiple locations in Philippines. Jerome is a great guy, keeping the cleaning (and confort) standards of the property very high, being also a great host and briefing us about our visiting options on the island. The fact that he could rent us a car has been also a big plus for us. Overall, the complex has a very pleasant vibe and we felt extremely well here!
