On the scale 1 to 10 the quality of sleep was 2. The hotel is very noisy with no or hardly any soundproofing between room. It allows dogs and the owners leave their dogs in the room (causing them to bark in distress - that happened on Sunday morning) while we tried to catch up on some sleep. The swimming pool was icy cold and the jacuzis were occuppied by babies and parents as there is no provision for small children. There are quite a I have given a fuller review on TripAdvisor website.

The breakfast, the free parking, the decor

Indoor pool - plenty of rules, restrictions when reading hotel instruction. But - just approaching it, we could hear shouting, big noise - pool fully occupated by 2 couples ( one of those most probaly drunk). No place to enter the pool unless trying to fight, nor. the whirlpool. When complaining to the staff in charge for the pool and spa, he looked he was asleap and he did not even left his chair to react. So we had to leave ... Parking - sufficient space if users are "normal". Place destined for handicap people were always full of cars, transit alongside the hotel to the rear parking stopped by cars parking. And again - no reaction from the staff either. Front desk youngsters were probably fully unexpierenced volunteers - prefering not to do anything. Pitty as the hotel is nice, comfortable and gives value for money. So maybe hotel management should look into training of their staff and check their work continuously.

Hotel as such, both interier and exterier are nice, our room was very clean, silent, cleaning girl very friendly B/F was nicely arranged and left nothing to desire

All rooms have a balcony which is really good BUT If you are going to stay here and you are a non smoker then make sure that you ask for a room that does NOT overlook the back entrance or rear of the building as you will get clouds of cigarette smoke wafting up from below. It is a shame as the hotel backs onto a Forrest/ tree view. The hotel staff sit on the back steps and smoke outside as it is a non smoking hotel inside. We had the door to our balcony open at 6.00am and had to close it due to the clouds of smoke. Not happy!

Whirpools & steam sauna deserve periodic repairs. No electric kettle or refrigerator in the room on contrary to the room description, no dressing gowns or slippers available for us.. It seems a bit like the guests from Booking.com are unwanted (like no room and bathroom cleaning in our room during the weekend stay).

Nice room, excellent breakfast, very good location.

rusty fittings in the bathroom, receptionist didn't want to give us dressing gowns when it seemed that everyone else in the hotel had them.

Easy to find, nice big room, reasonable swimming pool, excellent breakfast, spa staff friendly.
