Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaVery good place for old town visiting, everything is near on foot. The best welcome drink in a fridge when outside is +33,- cold polish beer, that was the best part after arriving in the apartment! :) On street it's easy find a parking place, or 2 min. from apartment is a guarded parking (just 45 zloti for 24h, Furmanska str.14)

SingaporeLike my first stay, the shower can be improved, and anti-slip floor mats in the shower would be good. Other than that, I have no issues with any other aspects of the apartment.
This was my second stay in the apartment in a single trip, therefore the apartment met my expectations based on what I had remembered from my first stay. This time, the owner completed the housekeeping of the apartment way ahead of the check-in time of 3pm, and I was able to check-in before 3pm. As it was my final night of stay, I did not have to use too much of the facilities in the apartment.

SingaporeEven though he gave clear instructions on how to use the water heater in the shower, I still found it hard to keep the water temperature at the optimal level for my use after following the instructions. The water is either too hot or too cold most of the time. Aside from the tap in the shower that can be turned to control the water temperature, there is a water heater outside the shower with a switch that can be turned as well. After staying in the apartment for 2 nights, I still couldn't figure out how the water heater works. In the end, I had to settle for cold shower which I'm not used to. Perhaps the owner can consider changing the shower to a simple one like those that are used in hotel rooms, just one tap to control both the water temperature and strength of water flow. Also the owner may want to consider having anti-slip floor mats in the shower to prevent slipping when the floor is wet after showering, as the floor can get slippery when it is wet.
The apartment's location is very ideal, although it is not located right inside Warsaw Old Town. The apartment is still in close proximity to Warsaw Old Town. I did not have to travel by public transportation or book a ride to get to Warsaw Old Town from the apartment. There is a convenience store nearby, where I can purchase food items for breakfast to consume in the apartment the following day. Although I arrived at the apartment way earlier than the check-in time, the owner did not chase me out of the apartment. Instead, he was kind enough to suggest that I wait at a nearby cafe and have lunch while he finishes the tidying up of the apartment for my check-in. He also passed me a set of keys to the apartment before I left, knowing that he would not be there at the apartment to pass the keys to me when I return to check in. There were 3 different keys for different locks at the apartment, and he was very patient in explaining to me the function of each key in English, even though his English is not very fluent. He patiently waited for me to figure out the how the keys work as I try unlocking the door to the apartment with the keys myself, before I left the apartment with the keys while he stayed in the apartment to continue tidying up.

United KingdomThe entrance was hard to find. The instructions, although all correct, were a little confusing because of the sequencing. For anyone lost - go to the square at the back of the property first, then put in the building entry code, and lastly, once in the building, go up the stairs to the 2nd floor to get the key from the door frame. The apartment could use black out curtains as it was very bright, I used the towels to cover up the windows at night. Same as other reviewers, it could get a bit loud sometimes. I did find the bed a little uncomfortable. I was suggested a parking lot nearby that was attended 24 hours a day to avoid paying street parking rates. However, I was there during a weekend and a national holiday which meant that street parking was free anyway, so I ended up paying for the parking lot for no reason. I can suggest the parking lot for use during the week only, or if you can't find street parking during the weekend.
The apartment was just as described, it was clean and had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. I also liked the small added extras that one might need, like cotton swabs or salt and pepper. The location was central and within walking distance of the old town.

United StatesNot much! I found the lockbox a bit confusing but I haven't met a lockbox I've liked. The food in the area is rather expensive as it caters to tourists, but there are several small groceries nearby, which makes the in-unit kitchen rather handy!
It was a perfect location and size for a solo traveler! Right in the old town by a park, but really not loud at all. A great jumping off point for all major attractions. For folks staying longer, I imagine the mall that is walkable across the bridge (Galeria Wilenska) would be attractive. There is also public transport close by, should you want to check out other sites such as the Jewish cemetery (which includes a memorial to the heroes killed during the ghetto uprising) and ghetto wall remnants. The transit can additionally take you to the central station to grab a high speed train to Krakow. Another perk was that the studio is near the music school. I was treated to several jazz concerts on my walks back from a day of touring.

The apartment is very comfortable, well looked after, and the location is very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good water pressure. We have been given instructions on how to retrieve the keys, and self check in. The main square, and city centre are literally a walk up the street.

AustraliaAlthough the entry area into the building is pretty shabby, I was pretty happy with the apartment. Things that would make it even better are - block out curtains, firmer pillows, instructions in English in how to use the facilities and appliances including the TV and inversion cook top, and a more stable hot water system.
This renovated apartment is in a very good location in an old building in an old part of Warsaw. There’s access to two small grocery shops, a small park and a coffee shop. There’s also an excellent outdoor shop nearby.

United Kingdom1. The instructions to the apartment are not very clear that the entrance is at the back of the building (so not from Bednarska street, but rather from the little park at the back of the building). 2. The TV remote was a little faulty. 3. The bed sheets are a bit small, and could use an extra blanket.
Quiet and pretty location in the old town, a convenience shop almost downstairs, a 10min walk away from Elektrownia Powiśle (shops and food), a 20min bus from the centre, the room was very spacious, well equipped kitchen (even had coffee, a nice surprise), all the radiators worked, good level of amenities and overall very convenient stay.
