Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandUnfortunately, the bedding and mattress were not acceptable. We requested a replacement for the mattress, as it was torn in several places and completely flat, but were informed that replacement was not an option.

Czech RepublicThe rooms look a bit like they did in the early 1990s. For example, on Booking.com, room 307 was advertised as 'air-conditioned', but the air-conditioner was an old standing ventilator. In the bathroom, the shower just drips water due to low water pressure, so showering is not very pleasant. The toilet also had low water pressure: it was difficult to flush. The young lady working at reception on 09.01 and 09.02 was rather arrogant, we don't know the reason why, maybe it was because we spoke to her in English instead of Polish. I could not stand her arrogant, rude behaviour any longer, as she was making faces, so when I said goodbye, after Have a nice day, I added ironically "You were very kind!".
The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the centre of Cieplice, a quiet place with restaurants and cafes, and next to the hotel is the huge park of the district with the thermal baths. The hotel also has a swimming pool with slightly salty water, which is great, hotel guests can swim in it for free for two hours a day. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, although the fruit buffet breakfast was watermelon, nothing else.

Czech Republic- No WIFI in the rooms, only in publicly accessible areas. - Armband readers to be let to the swimming pool/spa area were not working, also it is not practical to pick up the armbands in reception and than walk down the corridor to the spa area. Now imagine the situation you are walking in swimsuit and robe to return the armband to reception and there are other guests which want to checkin/out. This could be probably solved with some solution where you can self-return those armbands in the spa area. - The biggest disappointment were probably the rooms itself were dusty and dirty. You could notice that it was cleaned only in the "middle" of the rooms and the corners or less obvious places were left untouched for example: in bathrooms you could see the dust on the ventilator fan, dirt in the edges of the shower corner. When we left our child crawl on the carpet for a moment her hands and feet were full of hair and dust. The top of it my polish speaking friends heard the cleaning service talking to each other while cleaning saying: Hey Justyna, this room looks clean, we will not vacuum clean it. With this kind of attitude no wonder that the rooms looked this way and over the time the dirt collects. - I wonder if the Owners of the facility really care and make sure that the staff does what they suppose to do, I have mixed feelings as some of the staff was professional and friendly, but most of them felt, that they don't really care. Overall, if I was there alone I would probably be paying that much attention to the cleanliness, but having small child which is curious and explorers everything, we couldn't ignore it. At reception we were told that there is no option to upgrade to anything better, that we got the best rooms they have. There was no option to cancel and get refund, so we left the hotel and find more suitable accommodation and returned there just for breakfast and using the swimming pool/spa area.
- Breakfast was what you would expect from this type of facility, also the staff on breakfast was very friendly. - Location of the hotel is great it is next to the park which. - You could find there good international mixture of tourists (from Germany, Czechia, Poland..), mainly older generation - which might be the best target group for this type of facility. Their staff had also printed instructions in multiple languages so even if you are not strong in Polish you could read all the necessary information on the flyer they hand to you while check-in.

United StatesNO temp control. I was too cold, a promised heater never showed up. Only one pillow, ask for an extra. But the biggest problem was the dim lighting, even in the bathroom, so forget about makeup, reading. it was depressing after sunset. Only 2 towels, but plenty were available nearby.
Fabulous breakfast with professional emphasis on protein, less sugar and good nutrition. Wonderful pool, with lifeguard, a hot tub with fresh hot water every hour, great SAUNA, physiotherapy, yoga & wellness available, plus a comfortable, well=appointed apartment style room with fridge and good bed. Lots of flowers decorated outdoor dining decks. Reliable internet. In restaurant I had the best onion soup I EVER tasted. Friendly staff. Fast elevators. Shops and fruit stands walkable. Enjoyed a beautiful town.
