Most of the crew speaks English, but is able to say something in Polish😉

The atmosphere of this place is created by volunteers who take care of the guests. They're doing great and they're very helpful. During your stay you can count on watching videos together, hints on trails and routes, bonfires, warm beer etc. At least once in your life you have to experience it. The bedding was clean and the water in the shower was warm, so luckily I did not need it :-)

Good value and location, not in the center but in a very beautiful peaceful area near hiking trails and bus stop. Shout out to great volunteers, manager and pets (2 cats 1 goat lol).

The bad was a bit narrow for two big people.

Excellent place with nice atmosphere. A fireplace near the house which adds to the atmosphere. The house is in the forest. Excellent view from the window. Very friendly staff.

The approach road is quite dark in the evenings and is uphill from the main road with no proper road.

Basic but good and fresh breakfast. Clean bedding and toilets always. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Weekend events organized for socializing. Beautiful property.

Fantastic hostel atmosphere. Not a party hostel, just good old fashioned travellers meeting and socialising.type of hostel. Great location for getting out onto the walking trails. Good breakfast included

I like the place. It was quiet and cozy and the view from the window was superb. The location of the hostel from the centre is not too far, 11 number bus can drop you there.

The astonishing lack of personal space . I admit if it's the right place to meet people, it's not the right place for intimacy. Just puting a curtain for each bed would be already excellent! There is a lack of facilities, a lack of convenient storages to put your belongings. Sometimes there is the queue for using the toilets or the kitchen, that needs to be mentionned!

I will repeat what other comments says but anyway : Of course the staff of volunteers is just amazing, I even wanted to be part of them. There isn't the time to get bored in that place, always surrounded by people, always finding mates for activities. The vibe and the mentality of that hostel is the best I've ever experienced. The breakfast is a happy moment, thank you so much guys for everything. Of course I have to mention as well, that sometimes you can experience the beautiful surprise of very tasty cake in the main room, or sometimes a dinner for everyone is served. It's like feeling at home, I've heard that phrase more than once.

If You are English speaking person & want to see polish mountains or/& learn to snowboard or just practice Your snowboard skills it will be hard to find better hostel than this one. Would recomend

It’s a bit farther from the centre but it’s very easy to take the bus.

Very cosy with such a nice common room. Always people around to talk to, so if you are travelling alone you meet new people easily. The staff is very helpful. The free breakfast is also very nice. Definitely stay here!

Generally, there was no space to prepare your own meal (sandwiches), there were dirty dishes in the sink despite the notices stuck on the wall telling everyone to wash up after themselves. You are not allowed to wear shoes around the facility - ok, I understand, but when there are a lot of people in the house, something needs to be done with the shoes because they are all lying around the door in a mess.

The atmosphere of the place is wonderful. The people were very nice and interesting. The bed and bathroom were clean. The location is very nice, you can leave the house and go straight to the trail. The only problem is parking, because you have to leave your car on the main road 200 m away and there is not always space there.

It is a bit far from the city centr, but bus station is 2 mins from the hostel.

An amazing experience! Everyone should try it if they want to meet an international friendly community. It is like a magical place in the outer part of Zakopane, close to hiking trails. Helpful volunteer teams and programs every night (pieroigi night, quiz night...). Definitely come back later!

Hardly needs to be said when others have done the same. GBL is fantastic, filled with repeat guests, and staff who love being there. I intended to stay for 2 nights, but remained for 5, which happens a lot. Great mix of peace, with the mountains and the tidy rooms, as well as socialising and group activities. I made some really good friends, and will come back!

Dorms were clean, reception was so kind and helpful. Cakes and coffees were free. Even they had guitars and ukelele. It was suprised me as a guitar player. It was not like a hostel, it was like home.
