The Grand Sal provided a perfect stay and a fantastic location for walking to the salt mine tours.

I did not find any extra pillows in the room. I will admit I did not request any either. This is a very small thing.

The Grand Sal Hotel was very nice. Everything in the room was clean and stocked with soap, body wash, towels etc. The staff was very kind and helpful. They accommodated me by speaking English, as that is the only language I know. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was also extremely good. Breakfast the next morning was great with many options and a coffee / expresso machine. The location was perfect to walk to the salt mine tour the next morning. I was extremely pleased during my stay at the hotel.

The hotel is right next to the park so the atmosphere is quite calm, it is also close to the saltiness & brinetower which makes it very easy to check those out. Staff is very friendly & helpful and helped me arrange things like takeaway breakfast I could take with me on the train when I left. Spa was also good and I had a nice relaxing massage, I hope to come back again in the future!

Very difficult to reach parking place. Navigation will bring you to the street on the top, so to reach a parking you will need reception assistance

Bit of a winding road to get anywhere, other shops/ restaurants are a longer walk.

Large rooms and bath, lovely location in Salt Mine park, good restaurant with nice outdoor patio, impeccable service. A/C individual control in room, good Wifi.

Perfect location for visiting the Wieliczka salt mine and the places around it. The room was cozy, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, offering a large variety of quality products. The staff was friendly.

I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast, but it does the job. Pretty standard for the hotels... besides it was our fault that we woke up almost before the end of the breakfast, thus not all entries were available.

I liked location in general and easy access to the train/hiking routes at both sides. Friendly staff. Restaurant was pretty good as well. Room nothing special, but it was quite and comfortable.

My room was a bit dark, only one small round window but otherwise really happy

Walking distance to the salt mine as well as a sports venue. Travelled for the World masters championships. Would definitely stay here again! The food was fantastic

    Nothing to mention

Nestled in the heart of Wieliczka, the Grand Sal Hotel boasts a prime location that is both strategic and appealing. Its proximity to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of Poland's most iconic attractions, is undoubtedly a highlight. Guests staying at the hotel can easily access this UNESCO World Heritage site and explore its mesmerizing underground chambers, intricate salt sculptures, and rich history. The convenience of being so close to such a renowned attraction is a definite advantage for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in the local culture. For those interested in exploring beyond the salt mine, the hotel's location is also well-connected to other points of interest in Wieliczka and nearby areas. Whether it's strolling through the charming streets of the town, discovering local eateries, or embarking on excursions to nearby natural attractions, guests will find themselves in a prime position to do so.

Excellent hotel in the the old salt mine park

The breakfast buffet was a bit limited. It was nothing wrong with the things served, but there wasn't much to choose from. I understand that this size of a hotell can't have a huge buffet, but I still expected a bit more that this.

The perfect place to stay if visiting the salt mine. The entrance to the mine is literally just around the corner. The location in the old park is beautiful and very relaxing as well. The hotel itself was a bit smaller than I expected, but it just gave a more homely feel to it. The room was large and fresh and had everything needed: AC, water kettle, fridge and a bath. The hotel restaurant was excellent as well, we ate there two times during the stay and the food was very nice and well presented for a reasonal price.

Although the breakfast offer was good, the staff were very slow to replenish empty platters of breakfast items.

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a bath (a rarity on our trip so far). The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and just 2 minutes walk from the Salt Mine. Dinner was very good.
