Great location in the Old Town, steps away from the Market Square and most of the action, yet a haven of calm amid the bustle. Comfortable and large room, nicely furnished. Excellent breakfast, Friendly and very helpful staff. Altogether a great place to stay in Krakow.

Location was excellent. The hotel was very grand, it was like stepping back in history.

It never came. i was too tired to go down to the desk again. Also the breakfast was expensive.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, but at other times doesn't seem to be open, or with a very small menu. The hotel was also very empty - felt like there were only a handful of people staying, even though it was July and Krakow was pretty busy. We were outnumbered by staff at breakfast (not a criticism, but they were obviously bored!). So just has the feel of a struggling hotel, which is a shame because otherwise it's great.
This is a lovely old hotel. Staff are extremely helpful, and rooms are very well appointed, with minibars, nice bathroom, coffee machine, etc. Breakfast is also exceptional, with a big variety of things all presented immaculately. Kind of like fine dining at breakfast! Located in the centre of the city only a stone's throw from the main square. (Note: it's a pedestrian area, so taxis need to drop around the corner)

United States of America2 Reviews2 helpful votes“Lovely and memorable.”The Grand is a little bit rough around the edges and I hope management spruces up the property to keep it as elegant as it should be. Bed was not very comfortable and needs to be updated. Woke every morning with a backache.
Overall the Grand was great. Staff was extraordinary, especially Isabella and Cyprian. Breakfast was very good but could have been better. Location was very close toi Market Square and many restaurants and stores.
