Romantic place close to Castle Ksiaz

The walls are very thin, so one can hear the neighbours, but outside it is absolutly quit and only nature is around.

Such a beautiful romantic hotel so close to Castle Ksiaz. I really enjoyed my stay here in the woods. Breakfast was great and also the restaurant served nice Polish food. I would definitely return here.

Can't recommend this stay highly enough. The beds in our room were a little less than firm, but seriously - WHO CARES!!! Magnificent castle, collections and grounds; very friendly staff whose English skills matched my Polish ones, which only added to the authenticity of the experience. Naturally a bit crowded of a weekend with Poles, Czechs and others from central Europe, but come Monday night we were the ONLY people there - to dine, dance and wander the fairytale-lit castle forecourt like a Prince & Princess (OK - perhaps more like King & Queen).

Thee are two things to bear in mind if you're going to stat here, though neither is strictly about the hotel. First, the castle is extremely impressive from the outside but kinda dull on the inside (and tours are in Polish only). And second, certaib things are not available anywhere in the complex, including ATMs and cigarettes. The point is, if you stay here, just be sure to bring whatever you think you'll need with you.

It has a real 'castle-like feel' and it's close to the actual castle. The whole complex is set in several acres of parkland, which is nice.

Awful breakfast and food in the hotel restaurant. Lack of hair dryer in the bathroom. Dirty chair. Quilt and pillow should be exchanged 20 years ago together with pad on the mattress + possible to fill humidity in the room made going to the bed disgusting experience for me :( To strong smell in the room. Humidity in the room. Car park paid additional 15 zł.

The hot water kept running out meaning a few cold showers in the morning. Also, there was an event on during this weekend, and while hotel guests were meant to get free access we weren't told this until after we'd purchased tickets (40zl each). Not a problem, and the receptionist's apology was sincere and genuine. The bar offer is limited in terms of beer (just mainstream Euro lager from Tyskie and Pilsner) but in their defence, the staff had no probs with us bringing our own (and then keeping the bar area open till very, very late!). So, basically, all's well that ends well - I love this place!!

got an upgrade to the apartment (either by accident or design, I've no idea) and loved it - woah, the place is nearly as big as my flat. The furnishings aren't exactly 'on-edge' but they suit the place perfectly, and overall this hotel helped contribute to a brilliant trip to a largely unsung corner of Poland. I will continue to visit this hotel and castle for many years to come both as a base for working in the region and for leisure.
