Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI stayed two nights - the bar never opened - the 'excuse' given was that they do not open the bar when it is windy or raining!! Likewise, the restaurant did not open - I had to eat elsewhere each evening.
The purpose of my visit to the area was to carry out some personal research into the activities occurring at Sobibor in 1942/43 – I chose this hotel for my 2-night stop as there are no hotels in the immediate Sobibor area and a perusal of available properties on booking.com indicated my choice would seem suitable for my needs – location (local area), relatively easy access by road and promised facilities. This hotel is located on the eastern edge of the lake at Okuninka, which is a tourist resort very much like any seaside resort found anywhere in the world - it has bars, fast food establishments and general entertainment, and is well-suited to families with children. The lake also has a number of water sport facilities. The reception staff spoke excellent English - I had no problems at reception. My room was of a very high standard for a 3-star hotel. The décor, layout and furniture was excellent. Each room has it's own balcony, with table and chair, for sitting outside. There was a TV, but everything is in the Polish language (no foreign language channels). Car parking was available – cost is 20 Zlotys per night. The hotel describes itself as "Hotel Spa Rusalka". The spa facilities were a small Jacuzzi (NOT working!!), a resting area (with three recliner beds) overlooking the lake, a shower, a steam room and a sauna. The spa can only be booked for a minimum party size of 4 (or more) persons and costs 100 Zloty (£20) per hour. There are no massage facilities on offer. There was an indoor bar facility (see below) with adjacent indoor seating which overlooks the lake - in addition there is lakeside outdoor seating linked by stairs to the bar. There is also the restaurant (see below), where breakfast was taken. Breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold food and should cover all tastes. The hotel cost was excessive considering the lack of basic facilities - no bar, no restaurant!!!!!!

United KingdomWe booked a four day stay at Hotel Rusałka for 3 people - there was 1 bath towel in the bathroom and a face towel that was torn! We had to buy our own towels! The room was not cleaned throughout our stay, even the toilet paper was not replenished.Breakfast - small selection, not nice. We will definitely not return to this place.

United StatesIf you say you are a spa--have a spa. If you say you have a restaurant--have a restaurant. Turn the lights on. Update the rooms. Install a water filter. Soundproof your rooms. I would NEVER stay in this establishment again. I'd rather sleep in my car.
ThHIS HOTEL WAS SIMPLY AWFUL, HORRIBLE, & MET NONE OF MY EXPECTATIONS. It described itself as a "Spa" and as having a restaurant on site. We arrived on May 13 only to find that it was the "off-season" so no spa and no restaurant. It was dark, rooms were not updated at all--and had a very musty smell. The mattresses had plastic on them so God only knows how old they were. I would not take off my shoes. The WATER smelled so badly that we did not shower or use it to brush our teeth! The included breakfast had basically no food. 2 other people were in the dining room and had taken what little food there was. On check out the computer wasn't working so I couldn't get a receipt except from the till. At one point we discussed sleeping in our car rather than staying in the room. NO NOT STAY HERE! The young woman at check-in was nice and suggested a restaurant, but that was the only nice thing about this place. I
