Fairly loud music during the day, and if they never play techno again that would be too soon. I was not thrilled with the food, but they are in the midst of some really great places like Rustica pizza and Coffeetera - the best coffee in town.

The location is the most beautiful spot on the coast - no big buildings around. It was vibrant mix of local and visitors due to the awesome kite surfing facility. In our 70s, we were pretty rare there - most people seemed to be under 35.

I didn’t like that with having an ocean front view, the windows could not be opened.

I loved the beach front access right outside my unit. The room was cleaned everyday (fresh towels was provided daily) & the size was just right for a solo traveler. The staff were very warm & welcoming and accommodating. The oceanfront view was beautiful. The location was central to everything & just a short Uber ride to almost any part of San Juan. The Loíza strip was just steps away with access to tons of eateries & shopping. The area was safe & the property is gated which felt super safe. The property was a breath of fresh air…quaint & just enough.

Everything was great!

We recently stayed at Numero Uno Beach House, and I have to say that everything about our experience was absolutely amazing! From the stunning views to the impeccable service, We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. One standout highlight was the exceptional service provided by Gavriel. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His friendly and helpful demeanor truly made a difference in our overall experience. I can't wait to visit Puerto Rico again, and I will definitely be recommending this beach house.

The doors to the rooms were frosted glass, which was annoying since the lights in the hallways and common areas are on all night, flooding the room when trying to sleep. The hospitality staff was friendly but a little noisy as they started their rounds early and weren't very conscientious of their volume when speaking to each other. Between these two issues, sleeping in was pretty difficult on this trip.

The location was excellent - right on the beach. Felt very safe. The food at the restaurant was good for the most part and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed was comfortable and the shower great. The room was clean and large enough but limited hanging and shelving space if you have lots of luggage.

Lovely charming guest house with a beach vibe situated on a beautiful long beach not far from San Juan old town. The staff here are excellent and very friendly and the food and service was very good. Air conditioning in the room but used very infrequently as there is also a lovely ceiling fan. The terrace is lovely for sitting in the evening and watching the sea.

The hotel and location were excellent. Right on the beach. I really liked that it was small and felt like being at an airbnb villa on the beach rather than a hotel. I loved the sitting area upstairs with a veranda. Would definitely stay here again if I am in PR/ San Juan

“One of a kind”property. Nothing else like it in the area. Great beach. Close to fabulous restaurants. Close Uber to other attractions. No need to rent a car. We had access to the shared balcony which was lovely in the morning and evening if you want to wake up to the water and waves.

No view at all from room window, just alleyway. Location on beach was great but we could not see it, yet paid $350+ for the night.

finding our way in was a little tricky they were so busy when we got there we got there a little early but really it all worked out. parking was easier than we thought but you do have to find it throughout the neighborhood. when they cleaned the room they never took the dirty glasses we didn’t care but some might - honestly it was amazing

We stayed a few places while in Puerto Rico and this was our favorite. right on the beach and the people were I incredible! we would stay again - oh and the food! yum!

The only thing we weren't thrilled about were the doors in our room. The bathroom door was glass (yes, frosted) and didn't have any kind of latch - just a soft close. So be ready to hear everything/anything your traveling companion does in there. Same with the door to the room itself. It was majority frosted glass and very thin metal framing so you could hear everything that happened in the hallway. We'd still stay here again, but it was kind of a bummer.

The only way you could be closer to the beach is if you literally slept on the sand. The location could not be more incredible. Ten minute cab ride from the airport, 15 minute cab ride to old San Juan (or an hour and a half walk which was really nice). All of the staff were wonderful. Food and drink were fabulous, if a little pricey. 5 minutes walk and you're on a street with dozens of restaurants and bars, but the hotel itself is in a very quiet area for sleeping away from it all. The shower was amazing and pillows were pleasantly comfy. Also really appreciated the welcome basket of snacks and drinks in our room.
