The room was clean and the property itself also very well maintained. The pool was never crowded and kept up nicely as well. Breakfast offered something for everyone. Location was nice if you are looking for something authentic and not overcrowded by tourists.

Nothing it was just what we wanted relaxing, well maintained and small with a great clean pool.

It's a privately owned hotel and the owner takes great pride in his running of the establishment He cares for his mother He is very helpful and gives good advise You feel you are living with the locals of Portugal and not in a mass tourist area, you do need transport to get to Villamora and albufeira if you wish, local transport is a little laid back and infrequent. We didn't wish to travel so happy just lazing and eating at local resturants.

Some bugs in the bathroom, and it would be more perfect if complimentary water could be provided in the fridge.

Spacious and quiet room. Peaceful area and ideal place for relaxing. Free parking and kind staffs. Wifi is good. I really enjoyed the view from the balcony and reading books there in the late afternoon. Breakfast is a bit simple and basic, but there were various fruits and squeezing machine for fresh orange juice.

It is situated little bit far from the coast but with the car it is not a problem.

Perfect breakfast. I personally appreciated juicer for fresh oranges. I was calm hotel with nice big rooms with 24/7 reception. We needed that because of late arrival to the Faro airport.

We had breakfast late and the hot food was cold but otherwise the selection was good and the option to freshly squeeze oranges for juice a nice touch.

The location was close to where we were meeting with friends. The parking was very good. Staff at Reception were excellent and friendly. The garden and pool looked lovely but as we were only there for an overnight stay, we didn't get to use any of it.

Hotel is situated in a quiet village with everything in walking distance - peaceful surroundings, beautiful little town with nice restaurants. Perfect for a week of relaxing in the sun. The hotel itself is modern, clean and really comfortable. The room was spacious with huge, double bed, balcony, bathroom and a fridge. The pool area is nice, clean with a mixture of sun loungers and comfy day beds (which we loved, for relaxing by the pool all day). Breakfast was included- continental, but plenty of choice. My husband loved the croissants there.

A Modern Hotel in a Prime Location in a Lovely Village.
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple

    • Stayed 3 nights

As it was only a 3*, breakfast was very basic. However, there were no sauces for the cooked breakfast which only consisted of bacon and scrambled egg (would have liked beans/sausages). "Fresh" juices were just squash and tasted very watery. Considering this hotel doesn't have a bar/serve lunch or dinner, we felt that breakfast could be more substantial. Although the rooms were clean, when we arrived and opened our wardrobe, a load of balloons fell out! Doesn't appear that the cleaner checked the wardrobe in case of left items. Not a showstopper, but a little bit more attention needed. The pool area has plenty of comfortable beds/umbrellas, and in particular big round beds with cushions. I put my towel on one (cushions obviously stained by water), and noticed an empty condom wrapper tucked down the side. I decided against going on there and then wondered about the stains! Some of the above cannot be helped and not the fault of the hotel but some guests have their own ideas of fun, but not nice for the rest of us. The above doesn't put me off booking this hotel again, but I wouldn't pay extra for breakfast.

Good location, lovely village (nice locals). Pool and gardens clean, tidy and well kept. Breakfast area inside and outside nice (outside table tops all seemed to be a bit wobbly though). Room clean and basic, but that was all that needed as we were out and about everyday. Fridge available which was handy to keep what you wanted in it instead of having an actual "mini bar". Plenty of storage space/wardrobe space. Small modern hotel which was really quiet considering there was a small road either side of the building. Would definitely book again. Local restaurant for dinner, "Barrica 56" is excellent. Lovely atmosphere/staff (especially Fernando), great food, so we ate there every night. Nice bar/cafe across the road from the hotel, where everyone seemed to go for a drink/snack. Also, try the Scottish Pub.

Having said that it was very clean ---the bathroom could probably do with a little attention. There were not many restaurants to choose from --but we enjoyed the tapas bar and the Piri piri restaurant recommended by the hotel . We ate outside but inside was very atmospheric. A very popular place to eat. Apparently Friday night at Gordon's Bar is hugely enjoyable with music and dancing

Modern reception interior with works of art. very clean with well appointed bedroom, exceptionally good value for money, close to the central square, and with a small but nice swimming pool with loungers and chairs.

Bathroom although nicely appointed, was a bit of a squeeze, especially the bidet. Not user friendly for a chubby person like me!

The room, the hotel and facilities were really great. The ambience of the hotel very modern and clean. Liked the view of the pool from the foyer. The wifi connection was very fast and accessible in the rooms, with access in the foyer too. We didn't have breakfast as we slept in, the beds are the best we've experienced in a hotel for a long time. We'd also opted not to have breakfast as friends live quite close by.
