The place is very good and near the center and restaurants. The employees are very nice. Bed and bathrooms were nice and clean.

The hand towels provided in our room were totally wet. Other than that, everything was great! It was a bit funny checking in at the Ale-Hop store, but that wasn't a problem.

Great location - close to everything, but the room was quiet and comfortable - very clean and a nice size. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a patio to sit outside if you wish to take your tea or coffee in the morning. Very polite staff.

The drink 'kids' that were staying here. I felt badly for the cleaning staff that had to clean up their mess each day. Not the guesthouses fault. However the cleaning staff deserves a raise for what they have to put up with when 'kids' are on holiday.

This guesthouse is a hidden gem! It was as centrally located in the Old Town as you can get. One block from the ocean. It's quiet, clean and charming. There is an excellent kitchen and balcony to enjoy your meals. The staff were attentive and went out of their way for you. Traveling solo, this place also allowed me to meet so many like minded travelers from all over the world. You can pay double or triple the price elsewhere. But why!? Also, be sure to visit the Cat Colony right up the road.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Peneco Albufeira GuestHouse. It's perfectly located, a couple of minutes away from the nearest beach. The room was comfortable, bright and clean. The staff was very friendly. Great value for money. Super recommended! :)

Use of the washer and dryer are permitted with your stay, but they were always full with washed and dried hotel sheets and towels, so you had to take wet laundry out of the washer in order to do a load and figure out where to put it. Same with the dryer. Not a big problem, but also not ideal. The biggest issue was a dog that apparently lives on the terrace of the building beside the guest house and barked every hour every day, sometimes incessantly. Having the room window open or being on the terrace were both very unpleasant when this occurred, and it occurred a lot.

The room was very cozy, and the shared kitchen upstairs was large and well equipped for preparing meals. The rooftop terrace was a great space with plenty of seating and lots of sunshine. You check in and out of your room with the women working at the shop below the guest house, and they were all very kind, super friendly, and helpful. The space was clean and tidy overall.

Very close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Apartment is small but functional. There is a big kitchen available on the second floor, and great rooftop to have a breakfast with a view. Amazing staff made sure that we have everything we need 😊 Highly recommend this place.

The property was great! It was everything clean, size of the bedroom and bathroom was good. It had air conditioner so we slept great! We loved the kitchen, very handy and the roof top was amazing as well. I wasn’t expecting that.

Bathroom smell was pretty terrible (seems to be all over Portugal) and check in process was a bit clunky. We had to wait until after 3pm to check in which wasn't that great.

I like everything! The location is perfect! Very close to the beach, pubs and restaurants! The room is also very comfy, safe and clean with good bathroom amenities. Our first trip to Albufeira was fantastic thanks to this fabulous place. Very nice staff too. The rooftop is also beautiful! Highly recommended!

The neighbors from near room was very noisy at night. It would be good if the guests would respect each other, however, it is certainly beyond the power of the host.
