The only thing we didn't like is that you have to pay 5 euros for pool towels with a deposit of 10 euros.

The Hotel was really good, with a lot of facilities. Breakfast was good. Definitely will stay again. They had plenty of pools with slides for the kids.

My son uses a wheelchair so it’s hard to navigate dropped curbs etc. It’s not entirely wheelchair friendly but as he’s Small so we made do. Inside the hotel was fine but bathroom not (not sure if they have a room with an accessible bathroom) but the slopes are steeeeeeep. 🫣. We hired an electric scooter and we were fine in and around the town too.

The staff are truly amazing and the food buffet in the palm was so worthwhile. The indoor pool was a godsend when outdoor pools were a little chilly. Wifi everywhere was so helpful. Amazing family holiday. You won’t be sorry. Thank you all. Xxx

It’s a shame there isn’t the option for full board or all inclusive but it’s not the end of the world.

The property was clean which is one of the things I always check for in reviews before booking a holiday. Lots of space and lovely grounds. Food was absolutely lovely! Lots of things to keep children entertained and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. This resort really does live up to the good reviews.

Would preferred if the indoor pool was warm. Pools was coldl but other than that couldn't fault the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and staff were lovely. Not far from new and old town in taxi. And taxi very reasonable. Will highly recommend for small kids, entertainment on every night. Plenty of pools to go to and park for the small kiddies. Would highly recommend, will definitely be back again in future ☺️

The entertainment was quite loud for those who go to bed early! Also, pools could stay open later.

There are lots of pools and a great buffet breakfast. Food and drink was priced very reasonably and hotel located in a great area with a lovely beach. Staff were attentive, and the hotel was very clean and great value for money.

The indoor kiddies pool is ice cold, could maybe do with increasing the temperature ever so slightly. Nothing else...we really had a ball.

Everything from start to finish, the staff were so welcoming, so kind, I had messed up check in and the receptionist, Christina( I think) was so kind and lovely about it. The place is spotless and there is a maid service nearly every second day so no wonder and they are all so lovely. We stayed end of March beginning of April, it was raining when we arrived and we used the indoor poor which is fabulous of a little cold for a heated pool. The weather got better towards the end of our stay so we had the best of both worlds and our girls enjoyed the outdoor pools and slides then. There was night entertainment each night. We ate in the bar restaurant one of the nights, it was delicious. We took an uber to Albufeira old town around 5 euro, to the strip about 4euro, to Vilamoura about 10 euro. We really saw a lot of Portugal and on our last day we did a lovely cliff walk to olhos de agua and had a lovely last evening there. We will be back and we will be bringing the reat of the family, aunties, uncles and cousins and are looking forward to it already.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. Location of the hotel - away from all the noise of the town. Free Parking. A lot of outdoor activities to do. Private exit to the beach with stunning views. Multiple pools on the property, including two indoor and one heated outdoor pool.

Indoor pool was very cold. No outdoor heated pool so kids could not swim , was too cold. Buffet for dinner was much the same every night.. not enough choice for kids only pasta or chips /pizza. Need variety.

Great spot for families with young children. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with our 3 children. The apartment was very clean and well kitted out with good quality kitchen appliances and utensils so we were able to do a lot of cooking ourselves. Pools and wc were clean. Beach access was great but there were a lot of stairs to go down to the beach which won’t be suitable for those with mobility issues, but we didn’t mind the stairs as it was beautiful views all the way down.

The facilities and the apartment were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning staff came twice during our 3 nights stay. We absolutely love the indoor swimming pool and the covered one in the other building.

Eveything was spot on.

It was our second stay at Alto da Colina. Everything was amazing. Great apartment, lots of indoor pools (important when you travel in winter months), beautiful gardens,tennis courts. Very close to the beach. Lots of shops around and bus stop to Albufeira or Faro. Cannot recommend more. For sure I will return to the resort!
