The policy of charging extra for checking in before 4 pm and checking out after 10 am, which I find very odd especially as the flat was ready when we checked in and no extra or expedient work was needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Amendoeira Golf Resort. The apartment was spacious, modern, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning views over the golf course and lovely gardens. The pools were clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to beaches and attractions. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning!

Two phone calls to maintenance about the air conditioner and it still did not work. The upstairs was very hot.

Loved the infinity pool and all the open spaces for our group of seven.

You couldn't fault anything at the resort. The staff/shuttle bus drivers/waiters were so lovely, everyone was very friendly and added to the enjoyment of our stay. We had a wonderful break.

Some of the bathroom towels have seen better days. Clubhouse food was mediocre.

Amendoeira is a lovely resort to stay in even if you dont play golf. Apartments are very clean and spacious with everything you need to self cater. Loved being able to sit and watch the sunset and hear the birds singing. We were close to the pool but it wasnt intrusive at all.

Fantastic place for family with privacy. Wide apartment and equipment for all needs. We had nice rooftop to watch the stars in the night and nice balcony to enjoy breakfast and dine outside. Nice pool, sports center. Never noisy and kind staff. location is perfect- close to site-seeing places - caves, therefore during the days we were hiking and kayaking. The shopping center is very close. Parking is available in garage. We definately suggest this place if you want to visit South of Portugal or just relax. If you are good player you will be very busy 😊 Thanks to the wonderful people in reception and nice young man at swiming pool bar.

A few issues, lots of little insects (looked like tiny ants) in one bedroom and lounge area for the last 2 days, had to hoover them up, this was annoying. Raised decking in front of patio door which was a trip hazard. 2 nights of very loud customers staying next door and nearby, noise went on for a couple of hours. One morning, neighbur was playing very loud dance music.

Apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and modern, lovely view view from balconies.. Toilet tissue, hand/shower soap provided in bathrooms, dish washer tablets provided. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Cleaners serviced the apartment twice in the week which was great. Pool was within walking distance. Staff were lovely. Location is beautiful, lots of flowers and greenery.

The clothes dryer kept blowing the breaker so we had to hang all our clothes. Door knob in the 1 bathroom kept coming apart. Small ants kept coming in the doorway. It took a few tries to get our key cards to work, we had to go to reception 3 times to get them both to work.

Pool area was nice, we had 3 bathrooms which helped for our family of 4. We could cook our own meals. Close to golfing.

The resort is beautiful and the golf courses are amazing. This is a place to stay for golf as there is nothing near the resort in walking distance.

The restaurant was slow, but we didn't really go to this resort to eat at their restaurant (only did that on the first night after a long day travelling.

The apartment was very room, had a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace looking out over the value.

What an amazing apartment. It was beautifully styled and decorated. It was a really good size, with three amazing bathrooms. It looked like it had been recently decorated! The lounge was a great size, as was the kitchen. Every detail was thought of, with loads of extra features like washing machine and coffee machine. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. The breakfast was amazing.

This resort definitely exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully presented, very clean and has lots to do within the resort. The apartment was clean and spacious and we the facilities within the apartment were excellent. The staff were friendly and very polite and check in and out was easy. The fellow holiday makers were also friendly which was nice. We hired a car and had an allocated parking space which was great. The location was also good but only with a car as the local beaches and amenities are not within walking distance. We will definitely be booking again!! : )
