A little dated.

Price was pretty good for the location and standard of hotel. The option to go all inclusive per day was very handy.

Rated 5* but felt certain things were lacking for a 5* Allergens in the restaurant were not clear, staff were not entirely sure what foods contained which allergens and there was a slight language barrier as well. My husband is coeliac and gluten-free foods were not always clear and were not particularly abundant. Small details but for a 5* hotel would be nice if there was hair conditioner, body moisturiser provided rather than just a 2 in 1 shampoo and shower gel in a combined dispenser gym opening hours 9-6 is very limited All inclusive with access to over 30 restaurants however we found that each night there was only one speciality restaurant open and sometimes these were fully booked

Room service was abysmal, returning after all day out and beds still not made, no tea making materials in the room other than two cups/two spicers and two spoons and a kettle. Cups left unwashed, no replishment of supplies. Black mould on the floor of the bathroom, generally room cleaning needs to be greatly improved for a 5* hotel

The Hotel was nicely presented but l believe was overrated with a 5* rating, l found it to be a good 4* and an excellent 3* rating. This food was very good for a buffet style service. It was supposedly‘Themed’ nights, but there was no actual information displayed as to what the actual Theme night was actually occurring. Generally though a nice Hotel, slightly overpriced overall.

Seemed like false advertising with the restaurants, made out that they had loads and there was only 1 and the other ones they were linked with were terrible.

The beds were not the most comfortable. I believe the mattresses need changing. Even though we requested house cleaning to come in once a week some were not as efficient as others.

The breakfast was good, plenty of selection. The room was a good size and it's location wasn't too noisy. Nice there was an indoor pool (as well as an outdoor pool) for the cooler days. The staff were very nice, always ready and able to help when asked.

Aircon unit on balcony constantly whirring even though I didn't use aircon. A very good range of food but some was lukewarm and bacon was very Portuguese! Bath liquid soap was low quality.

Smart hotel, 10 minute walk to clean, sandy beach, friendly reception. Housekeeping excellent.

Bar was very quiet. Not many channels on tv in room.. pool water was very cold inside and outside.

It was a nice quiet location, ten minutes walk to strip,restaurants. Supermarket two minutes walk while beach and oldtown about 15 mins walk. Food was nice room was spacious and man at reception was very helpful. Towels wer changed daily.

Spa area was a bit jaded. Sauna had bits of wood that had clearly fallen off and not been repaired. Bar area could have had a better lay out with more seating choices.

Food was generally very good. Lots of choices with salads and vegetables. Main courses were a bit of a hotch pot and perhaps should have been focussed. Surprised that wasn’t more fish on the menu.

More variety in the buffet in the actual hotel. If you didn't take the opportunity to eat elsewhere you might have got bored as this was the same every lunch / evening

Limited drinks available on all inclusive, bar closed early for a hotel. Food was ok but not outstanding had to travel to sister hotels for variety.

Walking distance to both old and new town. Plenty of options for everyone at breakfast, clean airy rooms with comfortable beds, fun poolside entertainment during the day and the staff were all really friendly.

Staff almost don’t speak Portuguese, except some in the reception lobby. Operational staff at the restaurants, in this hotel, is in constant rush to do their tasks, causing discomfort in the customer, rushing him to finish.

When we got there, they left our room full of other peoples clothes, we kept finding things that didn't belong to us, the shower was broken, tv was broken and we were pestered by the staff at 2 in the morning when apparently they got the wrong room to accuse of smoking inside, also some of the TV channels themselves were not working.

The hotel itself was beautiful, beautiful views, different activities to do, kept us wondering what we will do next in the grounds alone. Most of the staff were lovely very helpful, the food was amazing, couldn't ask for better quality! Both pools were like something out of a dream, when we wondered what to do next there was always something to explore in or around the hotel, just a delightful hotel. Couldn't ask for better placement either! Highly recommend It to be on someone's to do list!

Could have been cleaner. The food wasn't an amazing choice. There is nothing to eat after 9.30 pm & Bar shuts early, too for an 'all inclusive'. Bar staff didn't really know how to make drinks. Three times. I got drinks that were far too strong to drink, so I had to leave them.. seem like a waste. I don't believe this to be a 5 star hotel?

The hotel was grand and the staff were nice. The price point was good.
