My toilet was constantly running water, and there was a brown stain where the water was constantly running. Although I knew it wasn’t poo, it still made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Also I was supplied with one stainless steel saucepan and 3 aluminium saucepans. I won’t use aluminium so asked for another stainless steel which they gave me. The lighting hasn’t been updated since the building was built. It’s functional, but the strip light in the kitchen wasn’t too pleasant.

The location is amazing and most of the staff were super helpful and polite.

It was a bit worn down. The bed had a plastic mattress cover which made sleeping very difficult. The entire place needs some serious renovation. No free coffee. Bathtub was really stained so I didn’t use it.

Spacious unit with nice view of water. Caroline, the receptionist, was very helpful. Nice trails that lead down to the town center. Great restaurant suggested by Caroline called Carlos.

Although everything was clean and comfortable the whole hotel is in need of an upgrade as furniture, fixtures and fittings are worn and dated.

Pay attention to the location- it's not in the middle of everything, however Sagres is small itself, so it's 5-15 min walk to all of the major attractions

Spacious, clean room, with terrace. Even the ground floor feels comfortable and gives needed privacy due to a "fence" frim green plants. Hotel obviously not new, but cozy and you can feel that it kept well. All the linens and cosmetic is there. 24h reception, stuff is super friendly and helpful. There is a pool available, haven't used it though.

The hotel was very tired and in need of updating. The seagulls had taken over the pool and just made the place feel grubby. The kitchen drawers were literally falling apart.

It is a bit rundown and needs remodeling. It was further from restaurants than we had hoped. Seagulls were in the pool, so there were a lot of feathers and ickiness which made it unhealthy to use.

It was a good value for the money and was close to the Rota Vicentina. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included, although we did not stay, because it didn’t start until 8am.

Michael (I think that is the name as he didn't wear a plate on him stating his name) the receptionist wasn't that polite. We noticed he was one of the receptionists at our checkout. In previous days we saw him around but we thought he was the maintenance guy sorting something out at the reception as he would not even say hello or goodbye.

Great shout out to Davide the receptionist. He always was polite, professional willing to help, and provided great suggestions. The cleaning ladies always were with a smile on their faces.

We received ground floor, so no view. Can't help that 😕 The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The room was musty and smelly, well used furniture. Beds were covered with a plastic protection sheet, noisy and uncomfortable. Not a good night sleep.

Whole place needs upgrading and refreshing Lots of really bad furniture including sofa in room which should be dumped!! Terrible decor in room with old furniture and very old fixtures Kitchen straight out of the 70s and in really bad condition Paint chipping everywhere

You need to know what you're getting into... a very old but affordable hotel. If you stay there for praticality and fair price this is the place but don't expect anything modern. It is very basic and outdated.

The location is absolutely fantastic. A 2-3 minute walk to the centre of Sagres, and a stunning walk it is, you can take the paths on the cliffs that run parallel to the road. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean. The essentials one needs on a beach holiday were fine - bed comfortable, working A/C, hot strong shower. Amazing value for money.
