The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, the dinner buffet the night I went wasn’t good at all, and there’s no complementary airport shuttle. They called me a taxi and it cost me $50

The breakfast was delicious! The property itself is really nice and clean and offers a lot of amenities.

Very nice hotel, well connected with test of Funchal. We started our 1 week holiday here The team was great, accommodate us earlier and upgraded us to a room with an ocean view. The spa is private but should be booked in advance. Fees might apply. Definitely recommend this hotel for your urban part of the trip

Breakfast is phenomenal - large selection and even sparkling wine to make your own mimosa! Also a plus that there are multiple coffee machines so you never have to wait for your morning coffee. Front desk staff was also very helpful - no complaints.

The lack of outside seating for breakfast.

The buffet breakfast had a great selection everyday with quality foods, the view was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We liked that you could rent the sauna for an hour all to yourself. All the drinks and food at the bar were delicious and well made. Sitting out on the main terrace with the views of the ocean and big comfortable chairs was very nice.

Everything was excellent,from the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome. Breakfast was good, rooms spotless,sun deck was beautiful and had an amazing view. Complimentary items everyday of wine,cake was a nice touch. They even made me a birthday cake . Will definitely stay here again.

The view from the balcony is amazing. The breakfasts were varied. The outdoor pool is heated, not warm, but you can swim.

Really need additional coffee machines in the breakfast room, around 50% of total breakfast time felt like it was spent waiting to get coffee.

Very good value for money, the complimentary items each day were a nice touch. The restaurant was very good despite it being very quiet. Staff were very kind and helpful.

There is very little we did not like. Just one observation, at breakfast buffet, the hot dishes could have been hotter. At checkout, although efficient, weren't thanked for our stay or said they hoped to see us again, which was a shame.

The manager was very understanding and accommodating at check in. The room, the view, the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the facilities. We loved the outside terrace. Price of drinks was very reasonable. The evening entertainment. Although the hotel was full and breakfast was busy, we never had to queue for very long and we always found a somewhere to sit. The restaurant staff very very efficient at clearing tables.

The only development point was perhaps the consistency of the air conditioning in the rooms, especially at night.

The property had a very beautiful interior as well as exterior. it had extensive amount of space for breakfast and even had a lovely view. The facilities were amazing and the gym was very well-equipped. The pool area was very relaxing. Staff were very attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care-off. We also loved the fact that there would be small surprises in our room when we got back from a day of sightseeing.

Indoor Pool needs to be warmer in winter. Could do with a fishy option at breakfast or a portugiesischen option - and larger mugs/ cups for tea

It’s a good stay for the price. Clean, understated but a little middle - which reflects in the competitive price. They gave me a view of the ocean, I left the sliding door open all night - a good nights sleep weary the result
